Objective:Hyperuricemia(HUA)is often accompanied by hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and other metabolic disorders. These are risk factors for coronary heart disease that have been confirmed, and are closely related to the prognosis of coronary heart disease. This study evaluated Relationship between serum uric acid level and the onset and prognosis of acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)patients. Methods:A total of 639 patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction after emergency coronary angioplasty(PCI)were recruited from the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January 2014 to October 2016.patients would be divided into two groups: hyperuricemia group and normal uric acid group according to serum uric acid levels.A detailed history of all patients was collected, including gender, age, history of previous chronic diseases, coronary angiography, laboratory tests, echocardiography, and hospitalization.SPSS20.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.Measured data that were normally distributed were expressed as mean ± standard deviation, and quartiles Q2(Q1,Q3)that did not meet the normal distribution were used.Test or rank sum test.Chi-square test was used for counting data,P<0.05 was statistically significant. Results:A total of 639 patients with myocardial infarction were enrolled, with an average age of 60 years,a minimum age of 25 years, and a maximum age of 90 years, including 544men(85.1%),136(21.3%)in the hyperuricemia group, and 41(6.4%)died during the hospitalization.Among them,20(14.7%)were in the hyperuricemia group and 21(4.2%)were in the normal group. The proportion of hypertension and hyperlipidemia in the hyperuricemia group was significantly higher than that in the normal group(P<0.05).Inthe high-uric acid group(HUA group),the total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),creatinine(Cr),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)levels were significantly higher(P < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant. The results of coronary angiography showed that the number of diseased vessels and multivessel disease in the hyperuricemia group was higher than that in the normal group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the number of vascular branches and implanted stents.Left ventricular systolic function in the hyperuricemia group was significantly lower than that in the normal group. The proportion of complications such as heart failure during hospitalization was significantly higher than that in the normal group, and the mortality rate was high during hospitalization(14.7% VS 4.2%,P< 0.001).Conclusion:1.The patients of hyperuricemia group are more likely with Hypertension and hyperlipidemia those be recognized cardiovascular risk factors. There is no significant difference in the incidence of diabetes between the two groups.2.The hyperuricemia group was more complicated than the normal group with coronary lesions and was generally worse at admission.3.The proportion of complications in the high uric acid group relative to the normal group was greater, and the hospital mortality increased.
