| Objective:Investigating the prevalence of obesity among adults aged 15 and over in rural areas of Guangxi in 9 districts and counties,to explore the characteristics of obesity prevalence and its influencing factors,and to provide reference for obesity prevention and control.Methods:The multi-stage stratified random sampling method were used to extract a representative sample tribe of 17558 residents(residence time>6 months)aged 15 years old and above resident from 9 areas in Guangxi:Guiping City,Qinzhou City,Qinzhou City,Linbin City Xingbin District,Yuzhou City,Yuzhou District,Nanning City,Yongning District,Hechi City,Bama County,Guilin Yongfu County,Liuzhou City,Liujiang County,Wuming County.The questionnaire investigation and body measurement were conducted to collect relevant data.Aanalysising the influencing factors of obesity and prevention and treatment.Results:A total of 17558 residents involved in the investigation in all 9 districts and counties.Excluding material incomplete,the data unreasonable a total of 1720,and 15838 of them completed the survey.Among whom aged 15-24 years were 1186(7.49%),aged 25-34 years were 2679(16.92%),aged 35-44 years old were 3043(19.21%),aged 45-54 years were 2809(17.74%),aged 55-64 years were 2217(13.99%),aged 65-74 years old were 1994(12.59%),aged more than 75 years were 1910(12.06%).The overall obesity rate was 4.49%,male were significantly lower than female.(3.61%VS 5.28%).(Table 1,Figure 1).②According to the general situation of BMI group comparison,compared with the normal weight group,the overweight and obesity group was significantly higher in age(48.53 ± 18.28years old VS 52.49 ± 15.87years old VS 52.66±14.55years old),WC(77.08±7.39cm VS 85.80±7.46cm VS 93.06±9.99cm),HR(76.76±9.05times/min VS 77.29 ±9.59times/min VS 77.26 ±9.77times/min),visceral fat rate(5.48±2.66 VS 9.55±3.43 VS 113.95±4.82),mean SBP(125.83± 18.55mmHg VS 131.84±20.08mmHg VS 136.94±19.74mmHg),mean DBP(74.21 ±9.20mmHg VS 77.36 ±9.98mmHg VS 79.49± 11.17mmHg)(P<0.05)(Table 2).Male:compared with the normal weight group,the overweight and obesity group was significantly higher in age(48.28± 18.41years old VS 150.90± 16.15years old VS 50.34± 14.79years old),WC(78.64±7.09cm VS 86.78±7.03cmVS 94.62±8.56cm),HR(76.47±8.82times/min VS 177.19±9.56times/min VS 79.26 ±9.98times/min),visceral fat rate(6.36±2.71 VS 10.65±3.80 VS 16.06±5.23),mean SBP(127.21 ±17.91mmHg VS 131.12± 18.91mmHg VS 137.52±19.04mmHg),mean DBP(75.60± 9.04mmHg VS 78.57 ±9.57mmHg VS 81.40 ±11.56mmHg)(P<0.05)(Table 3).Female:compared with the normal weight group,the overweight and obesity group was significantly higher in age(48.76 ±18.16years old VS 54.16± 15.40years old VS 154.09± 14.23years old),WC(75.66±7.38cm VS 184.78±7.76cm VS 92.10± 10.68cm),visceral fat rate(4.68±2.34 VS 8.41±2.54 VS12.65±4.03),meanSBP(124.57±19.02mmHg VS 132.58± 21.23mmHg VS 136.58±20.18mmHg),mean DBP(72.93±9.17mmmHg VS 76.10±10.24mmHg VS 78.31±10.78mmHg)(P<0.05),there was no significantly difference with HR(77.03 ± 9.25 times/min VS 77.40±9.63times/min VS 77.65±9.60times/min)(P>0.05)(Table 4).③In the general population,compare with normal size,abdominal obesity group was significantly higher in age(47.17± 18.91years old VS 154.79±16.16years old),BMI(21.10±2.41Kg/m2 VS 24.50±3.07Kg/m2),visceral fat rate(5.20±3.00VS 8.84±4.27),HR(76.71 ±9.23times/min VS 77.73±9.55times/min),mean SBP(125.01 ± 18.47mmHg VS 132.49±20.18mmHg),mean DBP(73.64 ±9.22mmHg VS 77.22 ±10.20mmHg)(P<0.05).In male:abdominal obesity group was significantly higher in age(47.20± 19.07years old VS 53.69± 16.19years old),HR(76.36±9.05 times/min VS 77.86 ± 9.53 times/min),visceral fat rate(6.11 ± 3.12 VS 10.45±4.54),BMI(21.39±2.39Kg/m2 VS 24.58±2.88Kg/m2),mean SBP(126.78±18.07mmHg VS 132.53 ±19.02mmHg),mean DBP(75.07 ±9.02mmHg VS 79.14± 10.06mmHg)(P<0.05).In female:abdominal obesity group was significantly higher in age(47.14± 18.75years old VS 55.57± 16.11years old),HR(77.06±9.39times/min VS 77.63±9.56 times/min),BMI(20.80±2.38Kg/m2 VS 24.45±3.19Kg/m2),visceral fat rate(4.27±2.57 VS 7.70±3.66),mean SBP(123.21 ± 18.69mmHg VS 132.46±20.97mmHg),mean DBP(72.19 ± 9.21 mmHg VS 175.86 ± 10.08mmHg)(P<0.05)(Table 5).④A total of 4039 in overweight or obesity group(25.50%),male was 26.32%,female was 24.76%.Compare with normal size,overweight or obesity group was significantly higher in age(48.53 ± 18.28years old VS 152.52± 15.65 years old)、WC(77.08± 7.39cm VS 87.08±8.43cm)、visceral fat rate(5.48 ±2.66 VS 10.33±4.07)、mean SBP(125.83±18.55mmHg VS 132.00± 19.05mmHg)、mean DBP(74.21 ±9.20mmHg VS 78.96±9.91mmHg)、HR(76.76±9.05times/min VS 177.46 ±9.63 times/min)(P<0.05).In male,compare with normal size,overweight or obesity group was significantly higher in age(48.28± 18.41years old VS50.82±15.97years old).WC(78.64±7.09cm VS 87.85±7.75cm)、visceral fat rate(6.36±2.71 VS11.39±4.43)、mean SBP(127.21 ±17.91mmHg VS 132.00±19.05mmHg)、mean DBP(75.60±9.04mmHg VS 78.96±9.91mmHg)、HR(76.47±8.82times/min VS 77.48+9.64times/min)(P<0.05).In female,compare with normal size,overweight or obesity group was significantly higher in age(48.76 ± 18.16years old VS 154.15 ± 15.16 years old)、WC(75.66土7.38cm VS 86.34±8.98cm)、visceral fat rate(4.68±2.34 VS 9.31±3.40)、mean SBP(127.21 ±17.91mmHg VS 13.44±21.06mmHg)、mean DBP(72.93±9.17mmHg VS 76.57±10.39mmHg)、HR(77.03±9.25times/min VS 77.45±9.62times/min)(P<0.05)(Table6、Table7、Table8)⑤The highest prevalence of obesity is Liujiang County residents of 6.68%,the lowest is the residents of Yongfu County(2.62%).The highest prevalence of obesity is Guiping City(4.16%),the lowest is Yongfu County(2.55%)in male,The highest female is Liujiang County(8.72%),the lowest is Yongfu County(2.68%)in female.(Table 9)⑥Multivariating Logistic stepwise regression revealed that obesity was positively correlated with waist circumference(OR=3.852,95%CI:2.966~5.002)、female(OR=13.416,95%CI:9.997~18.006)、visceral fat rate(OR=1.704,95%CI:1.648~1.762)、smoking(OR=1.650,95%CI:1.217~2.237),drinking(OR=1.693,95%CI:1.275~2.246)、obesity family history(OR=3.622,95%CI:2.446~5.364)and mean SBP(OR=1.010,95%CI:1.005~1.016),overweight and obesity people increased the risk of hypertension by 1.613 times(OR=1.613,95%CI:1.39~1.867)and 2.573 times OR=2.573,95%CI:2.11~3.131).(Table 11、Table 12)Conclusion:The prevalence of obesity among rural residents in GuangXi 9 counties was 4.49%,3.61%in male while 5.28%in female.The prevalence of obesity in the area was positive related to WC、female、visceral fat rate、smoking、drinking、obesity family history and mean SBP.The risk of hypertension were increased by 1.613 times and 2.573 times in overweight and obesity. |
