Application Of Mind MAP Health Education Model In Postoperative Patients With Breast Cancer

ObjectivesTo construct the model of mind map health education for postoperative patients with breast cancer and to verify its clinical effect,and provide a theoretical basis for the effectiveness and scientificalness of the new model of health education.Methods160 breast cancer patients were selected from the Galactophore Department in one Three Level of First-class Hospital in Jingzhou.80 people were divided into the control group and 80 in observation group according to their admission time.In the control group,the traditional health education model was adopted,such as oral education,live demonstration,dissemination of health education brochures,etc.The model of mind map health education was carried out in the observation group.The research team was set up by the head nurse.The contents of health education after breast cancer surgery were determined through literature analysis,and use X-mind software to design mind map and teach with PPT.After intervention,the health knowledge level,degree of movement of shoulder joint of the affected limb and satisfaction degree of the two groups were evaluated.ResultsThe score of health knowledge in the observation group was higher than that of the control group.The difference was statistically significant(u=12.073,P < 0.05).On the 1day before operation,there was no significant difference in upper extremity shoulder joint outreach,forward bends,extension angle between the two groups(P > 0.05).At1 months,2 months and 3 months after operation,the upper extremity shoulder joint outreach,forward bends,extension angle in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).In addition to the term of postoperative dietary guidance,satisfaction was statistically significant in other aspects(P<0.05).ConclusionsThe application of mind mapping method of health education to postoperative patients with breast cancer can improve the health knowledge level of the patients,promote the recovery of postoperative limb function,improve the patient's satisfaction and the quality of life,and have certain clinical application value.
