| Objectives:1.To observe the changes of immune function,blood viscosity,blood lipids,and tumor markers of patients after breast cancer surgery treated with Renshu Sanhuang Prescription.2.To explore the effect of Renshu Sanhuang Fang about Jianpi Huoxue Sanyu and its effect on the quality of life of breast cancer patients and its possible future effects.Methods:Thirty-two patients of breast cancer with hormone receptor-positive complying with the selection criteria were divided into two groups:the treatment group(n = 17)was treated with the Renshu Sanhuang prescription on the basis of the standard endocrine therapy;the control group(n = 15)was treated with the standard endocrine therapy,follow-up observation.The above two groups of patients were evaluated after 6 months of treatment.The symptoms of Qi deficiency and blood stasis and quality of life scores of the two groups were compared.Changes of the serum immunological function,blood rheological parameters,blood lipid levels,tumor markers,safety indicators and some laboratory indicators of two groups were measured separately.Results:At the end of treatment,there were 17 effective cases available for treatment in the treatment group and 15 cases in the control group.The results of the study showed that:1.Symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine:The symptoms of TCM Qi deficiency and blood stasis in the treatment group were relieved.After the course of treatment,the symptom scores were significantly lower than before and showed statistical differences with the control group(P<0.01).The clinical symptoms of the treatment group all significantly relieved after treatment,achieving significant statistical differences(P<0.01).Other symptoms:the symptoms of shortness of breath,mental exhaustion,fatigue,laziness,limb numbness and hemiparalysis appeared to be significantly relieved in the control group and reached statistical difference(P<0.01),Although subcutaneous plaque symptoms also appeared to relieve,they did not reach significant statistical differences(P=0.07>0.05).Symptoms of spontaneous sweating,low sound,heart palpitations,forgetfulness were worse than before with increased scores.There were no significant changes in the symptoms of less poor appetite,nausea,vomiting,abnormal stools,inability to defecation,tingling,purpura.2.Quality of life:After treatment,the quality of life of patients with breast cancer in the treatment group was significantly improved.Most of the patients were satisfied with the quality of their lives,while the control group still had symptoms of anxiety,upset,depression to some degree and they were not satisfied with quality of life.There was statistical difference between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).3.Immune index:The baseline of the two groups was consistent and comparable.After the treatment course,compared with the control group,the cellular immunity(CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+)was significantly improved and there was statistical difference between two groups.(P<0.05),while the cellular immunity(CD8+)did not reach significant statistical differences(P=0.391>0.05),but the result of the data in the treatment group was also significantly lower than that in the control group.The numerical value of humoral immunity(IgM,IgG,IgA)was significantly higher in the treatment group compared with that in the control group after the course of treatment.(P<0.05);after the the course,the numerical value of the complement system(complement C3,complement C4)in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group.But there was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05).Renshu Sanhuangfang can improve the body's immune level,promote the recovery of patients after surgery,improve the quality of patients' life.4.Blood viscosity and blood lipids indicators:After the end of treatment,blood rheology in the treatment group compared with the control group(high blood viscosity cut,whole blood viscosity cut,low blood viscosity cut,plasma viscosity,whole blood reduced viscosity(high cut and low cut))all showed significant statistical differences(P<0.05);blood lipid levels(triglycerides,total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein)were significantly lower in the treatment group after the course of treatment compared with the control group,the two showed a statistical difference(P<0.05),blood lipid levels(high-density lipoprotein)after 6 months of treatment,the numerical values of treatment group were significantly higher than the control group,the two showed significant statistical differences(P<0.05).Renshu Sanhuangfang can reduce blood flow resistance,reduce blood viscosity,improve blood rheology,reduce blood lipid levels,and improve blood clotting and lipid levels in the body.5.Tumor markers:After the end of the treatment period,the treatment group showed decreased CEA levels,which showed significant differences between two groups(P<0.05)..In comparison,the tumor markers(CA125,CA153)in treatment group showed a downward trend.but did not show a statistical difference(P>0.05).Renshu Sanhuangfang can improve the immunity?the level of blood clots and blood lipids in the body.It has a certain preventive effect on the recurrence and metastasis of breast cancer.6.Blood routine,electrocardiogram,function of liver and kidney were within the normal range during the treatment period in both groups.No adverse events were reported during the treatment period.Conclusion:The effect of Renshu Sanhuang Fang about Jianpi Huoxue Sanyu can relieve the symptoms of Qi deficiency and blood stasis in patients,and improve the quality of life of patients,and significantly improve the immune level of patients with breast cancer undergoing endocrine therapy,improve blood viscosity and blood lipid levels of patients..In addition,there is a certain reduction in the carcinoembryonic antigen in patients,which indicates that Renshu Sanhuang Prescription can improve the discomfort symptoms and reduce the recurrence of breast cancer with endocrine therapy. |
