| Object: To observe the efficacy of Yangxintongmai Formula on the Qi-Yin deficiency with blood-stasis syndrome of coronary heart disease with stable angina pectoris(SAP),and to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of this formula.Methods: Sixty outpatients and inpatients who were diagnosed with SAP from the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi university of Chinese Medicine were selected,and divided them into control group and treatment group randomly,each group was thirty.The control group was according to the guidelines for treatment of SAP for the secondary prevention of coronary heart disease.On the basis of the control group,the treatment group was treated with Yangxintongmai Formula.Both groups for the treatment lasted 12 weeks.Whether or not occurred the side effects,the result was observed and recorded.Before and after the treatment,tested vital signs,blood routine,urine routine,liver and kidney function,electrocardiogram(ECG),assessed angina pectoris grades,and evaluated the scores of TCM syndrome and the scores of Seattle Angina Questionnaire.Results: 1.Angina pectoris grades: After the treatment,angina pectoris grades in the treatment group were improved significantly(P<0.05),while there was no significant change in the control group(P>0.05).2.ECG: The effective rate of the treatment group was 46.67%,while the control group was 20%.The efficacy of ECG in treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.Scores of TCM syndrome: Both groups could reduce the scores of TCM syndrome(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 93.33% in the treatment group and 53.33% in the control group.In therapeutic effect of TCM,the former is better than the latter(P<0.05).4.Scores of Seattle Angina Questionnaire: In both groups,all the scores of physical limitation,anginal frequence,treatment satisfaction and disease recognition had improved(P<0.05).In the anginal stability,the treatment group also had improved(P<0.05),while the control group showed no significant improvement(P>0.05).5.Security: All the patients’ vital signs were stable and had not found side effects before and after the treatment,and the blood routine,urine routine and liver and kidney function were not abnormal.Conclusion: Yangxintongmai Formula can offer positive treatment for who is Qi and Yin Deficiency of SAP,which can significantly reduce the degree of angina pectoris,relieve symptoms,change ECG better,improve the quality of survival.And it has a good security which side effects are not found. |
