The data from the sixth national census in 2010 showed that at 0:00 on November 1,2010,the population of people over the age of 60 had 178 million, which accounted for 13.31%of the total population, which was much higher than the UN's 10%aging standard. This shows that China has entered an aging society and the aging is very serious. As the aging population in our country continues to increase, chronic diseases have become increasingly prominent. The data in the“Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Work Plan for China(2012-2015)”shows that the number of chronic diseases in China continues to rise. There are 260 million people diagnosed with the disease. The number of deaths due to chronic diseases accounts for 85 of the total deaths in China. At the same time,it also caused about 70%of the burden of disease, which has become a major cause of poverty for our residents because of illness and returning to poverty due to illness. In the increasingly grim situation of population aging and the increasing burden of chronic diseases, the study on the utilization of medical services and the influencing factors of the elderly patients with chronic diseases in rural areas in China can meet the needs of this group of medical services. It is of practical significance to better improve the rural medical and health service system for chronic diseases in China. In this paper, rural elderly patients with chronic diseases as the research object, using the "China Health and Endowment Tracking Survey(CHARLS)" 2015 national baseline survey data, through the two models to build medical service utilization model for empirical research. The results of the analysis show that:(1)With regard to the use of outpatient medical services, rural aged patients with chronic diseases in China are more likely to go to general hospitals when they become ill.The new rural cooperative medical system has not played the role of guiding patients to nearby treatment and alleviating the pressure of admissions in general hospitals..(2)In terms of utilization of inpatient medical services, patients are also more likely to go to general hospitals for treatment, and patients with different incomes do not show significant differences in the choice of inpatient medical institutions, but patients who join the new rural cooperative medical system are less likely to participate in treatment.Patients are more likely to choose township hospitals for treatment.(3)From the point of view of the timeliness of the visit, the reason why the patient should be treated without consulting is mainly based on his own judgment of physical health. He believes that there is no need to go to the outpatient clinic;the main reason for being hospitalized without being hospitalized is that there is no money.Further two model methods and Logistic regression analysis showed that age,gender,self-evaluation health status, number of children, and location are significant factors affecting the hospitalization probability of elderly patients with chronic diseases in rural China;and whether the patient's education level is now The four factors of smoking, participation, and family average annual income mainly affect the hospitalization expenditure of elderly patients with chronic diseases in rural China.Based on this, this study believes that we should start from the perspective of both the rural elderly with chronic diseases and medical institutions and look for multiple ways to solve the problem of the use of medical services for elderly patients with chronic diseases in rural China.
