| ObjectivesDiabetes mellitus(DM)has become the global health problem nowadays. The prevalence of DM increased rapidly in the world, particular in China.A large number of studies have showen that diabetes itself is not terrible but is the multiple chronic complications of diabetes.Diabetic retinopathy(DR),as one of the most common and serious diabetic microvascular complications, has become one of the major blinding disease of labor groups in most countries around the world, brings enormous spirit pressure and economic burden to individuals and society. Therefore,it has become an important research topic to explore the relevent risk factors of DR and discover timely and take the effective prevention-control measures. In clinical work to DR patients underwent fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)found a phenomenon. This phenomenon is in the macular fovea as the center of 10 mm radius of the posterior pole outside the range of retinal capillary perfusion. This phenomenon is defined as the vast area of non-perfusion diabetic retinopathy with large range non-perfusion area(DR with LNPA).This study was designed to investigate some of the characteristic risk factors in patients with DR with LNPA compared with atients with normal DR.In order to further explore the pathogenesis of retinopathy and the risk factors affecting this particular DR.It provides a strong theoretical basis for the early prevention, diagnosis and treatment of DR with LNPA.Methods A retrospective clinical investigation was conducted in 30 patients with DR with LNPA and 60 patients without DR with LNPA who were admitted to the Ophthalmic Center of Qingdao Municipal Hospital of Shandong Province from February 2014 to June 2017.Descriptive statistics analysis(mean, standard deviation)for the general data of both groups.Patients in different groups were compared using two independent samples t-test and χ2 test, does not meet the normal use of Mann-Whitney nonparametric test. The final outcome as the dependent variable, the patient’s general information of each factor as an independent variable.Single factor Logistic regression analysis was used to screen the risk factors in the experimental group. The screening variables were included in the multi-factor logistics regression analysis to determine the risk-impact.Results Two independent samples t-test and χ2 test were used to compare each research index of the two groups of patients.Mann-Whitney nonparametric test was used to satisfy the abnormality. The gender, smoking and drinking history,Hb A1 c,history of hypertension,DR staging, preoperative anti-VEGF treatment, intraoperative PRP points, duration of surgery between the two groups the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).Single factor logistic regression analysis of collected variables found that gender, smoking and drinking history,Hb A1 c,history of hypertension,DR staging, preoperative anti-VEGF treatment, intraoperative PRP points, duration of surgery were independent correlates of the experimental group risk factors, single factor logistic regression analysis of meaningful variables multivariate logistic regression analysis ound that Hb A1 c,DR staging, preoperative anti-VEGF treatment, the duration of surgery is the experimental group risk factors. Conclusions Hb A1 c,DR staging, preoperative anti-VEGF therapy, duration of surgery is a risk factor for the diabetic retinopathy with large non-perfusion area. |
