| Objective: To observe the changes and significance of serum IL-37 and IL-6 in patients with ACS,and investigate the correlation between IL-37 and Gensini scores.Method: We enrolled 84 patients who were admitted to The second hospital of Dalian Medical University for chest pain from November 2017 to January 2018.The patients were divided into acute coronary syndrome group and control group. There were 62 patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS),including 23 patients with unstable angina(UA),15 patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI),24 patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).22 patients with negative coronary angiography due to chest pain during the same period were selected as the control group. All patients underwent coronary angiography examination and Gensini scores were calculated. All hospitalized patients collected 2 ml of fasting blood in the morning of the second day of admission.Blood routine tests, blood lipids, liver biochemistry, renal function,CTNI,CK-MB,BNP and other blood biochemical tests were performed. The level of interleukin-6(IL-6)was measured by chemiluminescence method,The changes of serum interleukin-37(IL-37)was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).SPSS 22.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:1.Compared with control group,IL-37 was significantly higher in ACS group(12.83±5.58 vs 8.18±2.03pg/ml)(P<0.05).Furthermore,IL-37 was gradually increased in UA group,NSTEMI group, and STEMI group. The level of IL-37 in NSTEMI groupand STEMI group were significantly higher than that in control group and UA group(P<0.05),and STEMI was higher than NSTEMI group(P<0.05).No difference was seen between the UA group and control group(P>0.05).2.IL-6 was significantly higher in ACS group than that in control group(12.93±6.40 vs 7.85±4.50pg/ml)(P < 0.05).IL-6 was gradually increased in UA group,NSTEMI group, and STEMI group. There was no significant difference between UA group and control group(P > 0.05).but there was significant difference between NSTEMI group and STEMI group compared with control group and UA group(P<0.05).3.Pearson’s correlation analysis revealed that IL-37 and IL-6 were positively correlated with Gensini scores(r=0.574,0.498;P<0.01).There was a positive correlation between IL-37 and IL-6(r=0.722;P<0.01).4.Univariate analysis revealed that IL-37 was positively correlated with CK-MB,CTNI,WBC,AST,and hs-CRP levels(P<0.05),and negatively correlated with HDL and EF levels(P<0.05).The correlation coefficients were 0.684,0.784,0.336,0.704,0.435,-0.299,-0.259,respectively.IL-6 levels were positively correlated with CK-MB,CTNI,AST,and hs-CRP levels(P<0.05).The correlation coefficients were 0.825,0.815,0.809,and 0.528,respectively.Conclusion:1.The level of IL-37 and IL-6 in acute coronary syndrome patients was significantly higher. The study show that ACS is related to inflammation.2.The level of IL-37 and IL-6 in acute coronary syndrome patients were correlated with the severity of coronary artery lesions. |
