Objective: To investigate the serum level of interleukin-38(IL-38)in patients with non ST-elevation acute coronary syndromes and to find the relationship of hypersensitive c-reactive protein(hs-CRP),GRACE score and Gensini score with IL-38.Methods: 58 patients with coronary heart disease as the experiment group; In the meantime,20 patients had chest pain with negative coronary artery angiography as the control group. The baseline clinical data were collected including gender, height, age, weight,,hypertension history, diabetes history, smoking history, family history,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),lipoprotein?,apolipoprotein B,fasting plasma glucose(FPG),serum creatinine, blood uric acid,pro-BNP,hypersensitive c-reactive protein(hs-CRP),white blood cell and heart ejection fraction. The serum levels of IL-38 of patients were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).According to clinical manifestations, all cases were divided into three groups:control group, stable angina pectoris(SAP),non ST-elevation acute coronary syndromes group(NSTE-ACS).Meanwhile we compared the level of hs-CRP and IL-38 in three groupsAccording to GRACE score, patients with non ST-elevation acute coronary syndromes group(NSTE-ACS)were divided into two groups: low-risk group(GRACE score?108)and high-risk group(GRACE score>108).Meanwhile we compared the level of hs-CRP and IL-38 in two groupsAccording to Gensini score, patient with coronary heart disease were divided into two groups:non-severe CAD group(Gensini score?30)and severe CAD group(Gensiniscore>30).Meanwhile we compared the level of hs-CRP and IL-38 in two groups. All analyses were done with statistical software analysis,P<0.05 was considered significant. Results: Hs-CRP in three group were 0.35±0.25mg/L ? 0.58±0.53mg/L ?3.90±2.05mg/L,IL-38 in three group were 90.98±26.24 pg/ml?91.35±17.68 pg/ml?107.37±20.52 pg/ml.Hs-CRP in control group and SAP group were lower than that in NSTE-ACS group(P<0.05).The conclusion of IL-38 was same with hs-CRP.According to GRACE score,hs-CRP in low-risk group was lower than that in high-risk group(1.26±1.23mg/Lvs 7.30±5.15 mg/L,P<0.05);IL-38 in low-risk group was lower than that in high-risk group(100.63±23.47 pg/mlvs116.03±11.55 pg/ml,P<0.05).According to Gensini score,hs-CRP in non-severe group severe CAD group was3.08±2.56 mg/L,that in severe group severe CAD group was 3.54±3.39mg/L,there was no significant difference between the two groups.IL-38 in the two groups were104.69±21.81pg/ml ? 104.54±20.30 pg/ml,IL-38 in the two groups still have no difference.According to correlation analysis, the level of IL-38 has positive correlation with pro-BNP,hs-CRP and GRACE scores, but has no correlation with Genisi score. Conclusion: The serum level of interleukin-38(IL-38)in patients with non ST-elevation acute coronary syndromes was highly increaded;what's more,IL-38 has positive correlation with hs-CRP and GRACE score;so as a new anti-inflummatory cytokine,IL-38 may reflect the degree of myocardial damage.
