Surveillance Analysis On Adverse Events Following Immunization In Suqian From 2015-2016

Objective:To analyze the characteristics of Adverse Events Following Immunization(AEFI)in Suqian City from 2015 to 2016;to explore the measurements of reducing or avoiding the occurrence of AEFI,so as to minimize the injury and economic loss for AEFI case;to evaluate the operation quality of AEFI monitoring system and further to enhance the reporting quality of AEFI in Suqian city.Methods:AEFI case reporting form and personal information are from the suspected vaccination abnormal reaction information management system from 2015 January 1 to 2016 December 31,reported by Suqian City.Data of actual inoculation frequency of various vaccines,at same time,is from the China National Immunization Program Information Monitoring and Management System.Descriptive epidemiological methods were used in this study.Results:1.there are 3043 cases of AEFI in the city of 2015-2016,of which 2924 were 0-6years old,accounted for 88.98%of the total number.1280 Cases(?1 year old)were reported and accounted for 42.06%of the total number.2.1733 cases were male,accounted for 56.95%of the total number,and the male-female ratio was 1.32:1.3.the children with 0-6years old were the mainly vocation,reported 2852 cases,accounted for 93.73%,and June,july and August were the mainly AEFI occurrence months,reported 969 cases,accounted for 31.84%.4.91.06%of the AEFI cases occurred in 48h after vaccination,93.49%of cases visited doctor within 48h after AEFI occurred,And 98.62%of cases were immediately reported to Vaccination unit in 48 hours after visting doctor.5.The common clinical symptoms of AEFI cases were fever,local swelling and local indurations,of which fever is the most common symptom,accounted for 61.85%of the total number,only a few cases were hospitalized,most of them resolved or improved;6.1077cases,accounted for 35.39%of the total reported cases were from Sucheng District;7.2633 AEFI cases came from NIP vaccine immunization,accounting for 86.53%of the total number of AEFI cases.The highest incidence of AEFI is 0.613%due to DPT vaccine,accounting for 31.94%of the total number of cases,63.69%of the cases were inoculated intramuscularly.8.For the cause of the abnormal reactions,2989 people has general reaction,accounting for 98.23%of the total number of cases,abnormal reaction 1.74%,coupling reaction 0.03%,there is no vaccine quality accident,accident of vaccine inoculation and psychogenic reaction.9.All the monitoring indexes,include timely reporting rate and investigation rate,completeness rate of case questionnaires,etc,were meet the requirements.Conclusion:1.AEFI is a common occurrence in children under six years of age,male dominated;2.More cases were reported in June,July and August,and came from DPT vaccine inoculation;3.The main symptoms of AEFI cases were fever,local swelling and induration;most of them occurred and reported within 48 hours after inoculation;4.The sensitivity of the national AEFIIMS was greatly increased nationwide.
