Investigation On Farmers' Satisfaction With New Rural Cooperative Medical Treatment

The new rural cooperative medical system is for the state to improve the health conditions of rural residents.It is a rural medical security system with which individuals,groups,and government jointly raise funds,and individuals voluntarily participate in the protection of major diseases.Although all regions of the country implement the new rural cooperative system according to local conditions,various problems still exist.This article is based on the implementation of the new rural counselor in the above-mentioned Shangyou County.Farmers from Shangyou County are the main subjects of the investigation.The purpose is to understand the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical system in underdeveloped and poor areas,and to evaluate and view farmers as a direct beneficiary of the new rural cooperative medical system.The author uses the combination of theory and empirical methods to analyze the factors that influence the participation of farmers,and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on the influencing factors,so as to provide reference for the local government departments to further improve the new rural cooperative medical security system.This article is based on the People's Hospital of Shangyou County and issued a total of 300 questionnaires of the participating farmers in Shangyou County.The contents of the survey mainly included the basic situations of surveyed subjects,and their respondents' satisfaction with the new rural cooperative medical system,the proportion of the new rural cooperative retribution,and the services of the designated medical institutions.Then through factor analysis,correlation and regression of the data,the factors affecting the satisfaction of farmers in Shangyou County were found.Factors mainly include propaganda methods,funding models,reimbursement ratios,and procedures,and the service and technology level of fixed-point medical institutions.In response to these findings,in order to improve the satisfaction of farmers participating in Shangyou County,the paper also proposes corresponding strategies.Resolutions are mainly from the following aspects: improving the financial system of the new rural cooperative medical system,enhancing the level of protection to the new rural cooperative medical system,simplifying the reimbursement procedures for the new rural cooperative medical system;strengthening the establishment of rural primary-level medical institutions,standardizing the cost of medication and medical treatment at designated medical institutions,and promoting fixed-point medical treatment and institutional service quality;expanding propaganda,reinforcing government responsibilities,and perfecting laws and regulations.
