ObjectiveProstate Cancer(PCa)is one of the most common tumors among crowd. The incidence in our country is gradually increasing.Radical Prostatectomy(RP)is one of the effective methods of curing localized PCa.With the update of laparoscopic equipments and the improvement of technical levels, laparoscopic radical prostatectomy(LRP)has gradually became a widely used surgical method. However, traditional laparoscopes have a flat field of view, and the surgeon cannot obtain stereoscopic perception. The continuous development of 3D technologies has made3DLRP a new operation scheme. The effect of 3D laparoscopy in RP is still lacking evidences. Therefore,we conduct this study to compare the safety and effectiveness of 3D laparoscopy in RP.Subjects and methodsRetrospective analysis of 18 patients who underwent 3D LRP in Department of Urology,First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between January,2016and June,2017 was performed.18 patients who underwent 2DLRP at the same time were selected randomly as control group. All patients were confirmed by prostate biopsy as PCa before surgery and data was extracted.Comparison between age, weight, preoperative prostate specific antigen(PSA),Gleason score of biopsy, operative time,intra-operative blood loss, anastomosis leakage, positive margin rate(PMR),biochemical recurrence-free survival, average postoperative hospital stay and total cost were performed.SPSS 21.0 software was used to analyze.Independent sample t test and?~2 test were used to analyze continuous variable and counting data,respectively.p?0.05 was considered statistically significant.ResultsAll operations were completed successfully, there was no transformed about surgical approach. There were no difference between 3DLRP and 2DLRP in age, weight, preoperative PSA and Gleason score of biopsy. The results found that 3D laparoscopy could significantly shorten the operation time, reduce intra-operative blood loss and average postoperative hospital stay.No difference was found about anastomosis leakage,PMR,biochemical recurrence-free survival and total cost.ConclusionCompared with 2DLRP,3DLRP could significantly shorten the operation time, reduce intra-operative blood loss and postoperative hospital stay.It can reduce the risk of surgery without increasing the patients'cost and therefore has potential application value which is easy to operate and benefit the patients.
