?Objective? To understand the long-term effects of low concentration DMF on the health of workers, and to explore sensitive indexes in occupational physical examination in order to develop validate plans for professional physical examination.?Methods? The workers in two private garment enterprises on processing and production of synthetic leather fabric were investigated.According to the GBZl88-2007“technical specification for the occupational health”,health conditions were examined for DMF contact and non-contact workers on liver and kidney function, blood routine, urine routine, bultrasonic examination, electrocardiogram examination, etc.?Results? The results of the health examination showed that the main complaints of the DMF contact group were mainly digestive symptoms, accounting for 21.6%of the total. The abnormal ratios of ALT,AST,ALP and GGT were 27.0%,26.0%,17.3%and23.2%,respectively,and were significantly higher than those in the control group. The abnormal rate of?2-MG and MALB in renal function and urine routine examination was higher than that in the control group.Eosinophilic granulocytes?EO?and lymphocyte?LY?were greater in number in exposure group. The ultrasonography showed a higher rate of abnormal liver of 22.2%,but with no significant difference in electrocardiogram and blood pressure.?Conclusion?1.Long-term,low concentration exposure to DMF may damage the health of workers mainly in liver function.2.The health monitoring program needs to be further improved for DMF workers. The optimised indicators in health examination can help to detect early occupational DME injuries, which is of positive significance to the health of workers.
