ObjectivesThe purpose of this study was to find out the level and status of SPB,coping style,and social support of patients with rectal cancer permanent colostomy.and find to explicit the influence factors of patients with rectal cancer permanent colostomy,as well as the correlation between SPB,coping style,and social support.MethodsA cross-sectional descriptive study design was used and a total of 205 participants were enrolled.Data were collect with Self-perceived burden scale(SPBS),Social support rating scale(SSRS),Medical coping modes questionnaire(MCMQ).SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 were used conduct statistical analysis.ResultsA total of 230 questionnaires were enrolled and 205 questionnaires were returned,with a response rate of 96.2%.The detailed information follows as below:1?Respondents had a medium level of SPB with the mean(SD)score of 34.1(5.09)points,at moderate levels,and the highest score is body burden with the mean(SD)3.65(0.63),the mean(SD)score of financial burden,emotional burden were 3.26(1.12),(3.16±0.66)respectively.2?The total mean(SD)score of social support was 33.11(4.55),and the highest score is subjective support with the mean(SD)of 5.03(0.71)the lowest score is utilization degree of support with the mean(SD)of 2.01(0.54).3?The total mean(SD)score for coping style was 42.62(4.02),and the highest score is avoid with the mean(SD)of 2.16(0.29)the lowest score is face with the mean(SD)of 2.09(0.40).4?Different age,education level,severity of disease,occupation,payment,the degree of self-care,family caregivers,family income of disease group perceived SPB score differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),whereas sex,marital status,have respectively or not score has not been found to have statistically significant differences(P>0.05).5?Pearson correlation analysis showed that social support negative associated with SPB(r=-0.537,P<0.01),avoid,yield positively associated with SPB(r=0.576,P<0.01,r=0.173,P<0.05),face negative associated with SPB(r=-0.467,O<0.01).6?Regression analysis showed that:yield,family income,Use of support.,avoid,subjective support,age,family caregivers,face of these eight variables are the main factors that affect the level of SPB of patients with join explained 26.9%variation.7?Results of structural equation model showed that coping style played a partly mediated role of between the SPB and social support with the medicate effect accounting for 22.9%of total effect.Conclusion1?SPB in patients with rectal cancer permanent colostomy are prevalent,and the majority of patients are in the medium level.2?Age,education level,severity of disease,payment,family income,occupation,family caregivers are the main influencing factors of SPB in patients with rectal cancer permanent colostomy.3?Coping style partly mediated the SPB and social support.
