Objective: Chronic kidney disease(CKD)has become a global health problem and posed a threat to public health in China. The evaluation of ventricular function in patients with CKD is helpful for detection and diagnosis of cardiovascular disease,a common complication of CKD,and provides a basis for early clinical intervention. This study used real-time three-dimensional echocardiography(RT-3DE)to evaluate the right ventricular function in patients with CKD.Based on the data collected, this paper then compared the difference between patients and healthy people in their right ventricular function and concluded the tendency of the hypofunction of right ventricle. Finally, this paper assessed the value of RT-3DE in the evaluation of right ventricular function. Methods: The paper studied the patients with chronic kidney disease who received treatment in Yijishan Hospital from January 2016 to January 2018.They were divided into two groups,CKD1-3 group and CKD4-5 group based on their different glomerular filtration rate and each group had 24 cases. And other 24 healthy people were selected as the control group.A total of 72 cases was collected in this study. All the subjects were examined with RT-3DE,and the data collected were analyzed by Philips Q-lab software. Results: Right ventricular systolic function:(1)TAPSE: There were no significant difference of TAPSE in CKD1-3 and CKD4-5 groups comparing with the control group.(2)MPI: The MPI in CKD1-3 group was no obviously different from that in control group. However,as we observed, great difference lay between CKD4-5 group and the control group(P<0.01).(3)RV-EF: The RV-EF declined in CKD1-3 group(P<0.05)and it further decreased in CKD4-5 group(P<0.01).The RV-EF in both groups were evidently less than that of control group.Right Ventricular diastolic function:(1)E/A: The E/A of both CKD1-3 and CKD4-5 group were different from the normal group. The E/A in CKD1-3 group(P<0.05)was decreased and in CKD4-5 group(P<0.01)it was even lower.(2)E/e': There was no obvious difference between CKD1-3 group and the control group while the E/e' evidently grew in CKD4-5 group(P<0.05).(3)RA size: the RA area sharply increased in CKD1-3 group(P<0.01)and CKD4-5 group(P<0.05)with the RAL of the two groups rocketing(P<0.01).The RAT had no significant change. Conclusion: Right ventricular dysfunction was found in patients with chronic kidney disease. Both the systolic and diastolic function declined even in the early stage of CKD.RT-3DE is of great value in the assessment of right ventricular systolic function in patients with CKD.
