Analysis Of The Correlative Factors Of Comprehensive Demands Of Female Caregivers Of Patients For Lung Cancer Operation

Objective:To investigate the condition of comprehensive demand,anxiety and social support of female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation,research on the influence of comprehensive demand of female caregivers about general information,anxiety and social support,explore the correlation among the comprehensive demand,anxiety and social support of female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation.To provide theoretical gist for improving the care quality of inpatients for lung cancer surgery,consummating hospital's service support system and addressing the actual needs of female caregivers.Methods:A total of 126 female caregivers of lung cancer patients from July to December in 2017 in a top-tier hospital in Shandong Province were enrolled.Our research adopt female caregivers' general survey questionnaire,Comprehensive Needs Assessment Tool in Cancer(CNAT-C)Scale,Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)were used to conduct the questionnaire survey.Using SPSS 20.0 statistical software for input and analysis,statistical analysis include:descriptive analysis,t test,univariate analysis,Pearson correlation,multiple regression analysis.Results:1.The score of comprehensive demand for female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation:medical staff need dimension(20.40 ±5.00),knowledge and information requirements(17.71 ±4.65),facilities and services in hospital(11.07± 4.99),actual support needs(9.10 ±4.95),health and mentality(6.98 ±5.40),family and social support(6.52±4.48),religious support demand dimension(1.90 ± 1.79),it is the lowest dimension.2.The average score of SAS was(35.49±7.32)and was significant statistically higher than the domestic average(P<0.05).3.The score of comprehensive demand for female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation:the caregivers' subjective support(25.18 ± 4.73),caregivers' objective support(9.59 ± 2.98),availability of support(7.35 ± 1.92).4.The correlation analysis of general information towards comprehensive demand of female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation show that the influence factors such as marital status,the relationship with the patient,monthly household income,mode of payment,place of residence and religious faith have impact on the comprehensive demand of female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation,and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05).5.The correlation analysis of anxiety towards comprehensive demand of female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation shows that the anxiety score of female caregivers have positive relationship to her actual support requirements(r=-0.391,P<0.001),the demand for facilities and services in hospitals(r=-0.178,P=0.046),the demand for family and social support(r=0.429,P<0.001),the demand of health and mentality(r=0.482,P<0.001)and the demand for religious support(r=0.438,P<0.001).6.The correlation analysis of social support towards comprehensive demand of female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation shows that the actual support requirements of female caregivers are inversely proportional to the score of objective support.(r=-0.227,P=0.011)7.Multiple hierarchical regression analysis shows that:the major factors that are related to the demand of female caregivers in general information include:the relationship with patient,health condition,monthly household income and mode of payment.These factors can jointly explain 6.6%of the comprehensive demand variation.Social support,subjective support and social utilization can explain 7.4%of the comprehensive demand variation.The regression equation model includes anxiety score,general information,social support and anxiety can jointly explain 18.7%of the comprehensive demand variation.Among these factors,the anxiety has influence on comprehensive demand and the influence have significant differences(?=0.343,P<0.001).Conclusions:1.The female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation have high demand for medical staff and knowledge information.The factors such as the relationship with the patients,monthly household income,mode of payment,place of residence and marital status can have influence on comprehensive demand.The caregivers who have good relationship with patient have high demand for medical staff,knowledge information and actual support,the divorced and widowed caregivers have high demand for mental health,caregivers who earn less than 3,000 yuan per month,treat at their own expense and live in other place have higher demand for actual support.Furthermore,out-of-town caregivers have high demand for facilities and services in hospital.2.The anxiety score of female caregivers of patients for lung cancer operation is higher than normal disease in domestic,its main influencing factor is age.Caregivers who are 36-45 years old have higher anxiety score.3.The level of social support is affected by many factors,theirs main influencing factor is the relationship with patient.The objective support level is influenced by marital status,monthly household income and mode of payment.Support availability is influenced by degree of education,occupation and mode of payment.4.The comprehensive demand of female caregivers of patients for lung cancer surgery was influenced by a number of factors.Among them,relationship with patient and degree of anxiety was the two main factors.The better the relationships are and the more severity of anxiety was,the higher comprehensive demand of caregivers need.
