A Single Segment Of The Intertransverse Tension Band Fixation For The Treatment Of Degenerative Lumbar Instability In Clinical Research

Objective The instability of lumbar spine fusion and non-fusion for controversial choice,operation diversity,treatment effect unsatisfactory based on combination of advance in recent years,with animal(pig spine bone complex)experimental results,we design the single segments of intertransverse tension band ligation dynamic internal fixation for the treatment of degenerative lumbar spine instability,the essay mainly demonstrate the scientificalness,progressiveness and its clinical value of the operation style.Methods The 5 cases were completed with the single segment ligation dynamic internal fixation for the treatment of degenerative lumbar instability with tension band among the intertransverse process from 2011 June to 2013 February,including male 3 cases,female 2 cases,the average age was 57.2 years old from age 48 to 64 years old.To observe the postoperative clinical and radioactive examination,by a certain time and frequency of follow-up,we received the data to statistical analysis,in order to achieve the clinical effect of the treatment of degenerative lumbar instability.Clinical efficiency according to visual analogue VAS score,JOA score,Oswestry function disability index(ODI)and changes of X-ray contrast analysis of preoperation and postoperation.Results The average follow-up was 14 months(6-20 months),and in 5 patients were followed up,the symptoms disappeared completely in 3 cases,mainly disappeared in 2 case.The 5 patients with postoperative VAS scores were significantly higher than the preoperative(P<0.05);the excellent and good rate was 100%in postoperative JOA score;and Oswestry disability index was significant difference(P<0.05)before and after the operation;the treatment effect was satisfactory.Before and after the operation,the intervertebral height and lordosis angle had no significant difference(P>0.05);The active degree of operation segment was(6.72 ± 0.70)°.Conclusion A single segment of the intertransverse tension-band cerclage dynamic internal fixation is an effective method of treatment for degenerative lumbar instability.
