Clinical Control Study In Treating Degenerative Lumbar Instability With Single Or Double Cages

Backgroud: Posterior lumbar interbody fusion surgery in the treatment of degenerative lumbar instability is a common method for clinical application.Operation is the classic double cage interbody fusion,the requirement of large operation space,wide surgical field,bilateral facet is difficult to preserve,easy to damage the spinal posterior structure,paraspinal muscles and spinal tissue,and long operation time,intraoperative bleeding volume,Hua Feigao.Therefore,it is necessary to find a way to reduce the damage of the posterior column structure and the muscles of the vertebra,and not to reduce the rate of interbody fusion.Objective: Comparative analysis of single and double cage fusion surgery in the treatment of loss of stability of posterior interbody fusion in degenerative lumbar spine,and better service for clinical work.Materials and methods: From August 2011 to December 2013,spinal surgery patients in Shandong Province,Wendeng osteopathic hospital underwent single segment posterior decompression,interbody fusion and internal fixation for the treatment of degenerative lumbar instability with a total of 198 cases,according to the number of Cage will be divided into single group(group A,110 cases)and two groups(B group.88 cases)were followed up after operation,tracking,for two or more years of clinical and imaging data were compared and analyzed.Results: Two groups of age,gender,onset segment,postoperative follow-up time was no significant difference(p>0.05),a group of patients in the operation time,bleeding volume,average hospitalization cost is lower than that of B group(p<0.05),two cases of postoperative JOA score,ODI score,intervertebral fusion rate the difference and intervertebral height were not statistically significant(p>0.05).Conclusion: Single or double cage interbody fusion in treating degenerative lumbar instability,can achieve satisfactory effect.Compared with the double fusion cage,the single fusion implant operation is simple,surgical trauma is small,can be a greater degree of retaining the spine structure,as a result of less use of a fusion device,spend less.
