In order to reduce the production cost, improve the economic benefit, reduce the pollution of land and water resources, further improve the yield of tomatoes and improve the quality of tomatoes. In this experiment, the closed matrix gritting system independently developed by the National Vegetable Research Center was applied to study the effects of perlite and rock wool substrate cultivation on the growth and development of grooved tomatoes, and on this basis, the effects of appropriate nutrient solution irrigation mode on the yield, quality and nutrient solution utilization efficiency of tomatoes were explored. The results are as follows:The volume importance of perlite matrix is greater than the bulk density of rock wool matrix, but all of them are within the ideal range; The total porosity and gas-water ratio of perlite matrix were 77.00%and 0.97,which were closer to the suitable range of tomato matrix cultivation than rock wool matrix. The water-holding porosity of perlite matrix and rock wool matrix is 30.80%and 35.70%respectively.Perlite matrix has poor water retention compared with rock wool matrix. The EC value of both is low,but the p H value range of rock wool matrix is 6.0?8.3,which is greater than 7.0?7.5 of perlite. In the comparison of cultivation experiments, there was no significant difference in various indexes of fruit quality between T1 and CK,but all of them were significantly higher than that of T2.The total output per plant of T2 was 35.91%and36.36%lower than that of T1 and CK,respectively, and the difference between T1 and CK was not significant. From the perspective of economic benefits, the economic benefits of T1 treatment are significantly higher than those of T2 and CK treatment. Therefore, the appropriate cultivation method under the closed tank culture system is T1treatment--the number of perlite conventional cultivation and transplanting plants is2230 plants/667m~2.(2)In different irrigation modes, the plant height, stem diameter and leaf number of tomato plants all increased with the increase of irrigation amount. When the irrigation amount reached A3,the stem diameter and leaf number decreased with the increase of irrigation frequency.Overall, plant dry weight, photosynthetic pigment content, net photosynthetic rate, fruit quality and yield were presented with the increase of irrigation amount and irrigation frequency increased after the first reduce the trend,A3B3processing tomato yield the highest A2B5 and A3B3 fruit quality is best, but the yield and fruit quality, there were no significant difference compared with A1B7 and A1B7has the highest water use efficiency,A2B5 and A3B3 processing the average water consumption per plant were 28.26%and 21.74%higher than A1B3.According to the comprehensive evaluation, the irrigation mode treated by A1B7 was the best in the perlite trough cultivation tomato system, that is,when the irrigation amount of each tomato plant was 1L per day and the irrigation frequency was 7 times,it had little impact on the yield and nutritional quality of tomato fruit, and could achieve higher water and fertilizer utilization.
