Anthurium andraeanum Lind.is a kind of ornamental herbal flower, which include perennial, evergreen, fleshy roots, long petioles of leaves,solitary,heart-shaped,bright green, vein depression, axillary flowers, bract wax, color varies with species, spike inflorescence,cylindrical.A.andraeanum likes warm, humid and semi-shady environment with good drainage. It is afraid of drought and strong light exposure.Temperature is one of the important factors affecting the growth of A.andraeanum.The suitable growth temperature is 18-28?.High temperature will produce burns, low temperature will affect growth, and even cause cold injury.Low temperature stress is a natural disaster in agricultural production. It will inhibit plant growth and even cause plant death, thus causing losses to agricultural production.Evaluation the cold resistance of A.andraeanum at low temperature is beneficial for breeding research, grading management and reducing energy consumption in the A.andraeanum production management.1.In order to find out the correlation between the morphology and cold resistance of A.andraeanum,20 varieties of A.andraeanum were subjected to natural low temperature stress in winter. The index of cold injury of four organs was calculated according to the morphological characteristics of cold injury of each variety. The principal component synthetic score formula is Y=0.308*ZX1+0.277*ZX2+0.481*ZX3+0.48*ZX4.The comprehensive score of cold resistance was calculated, and 20 varieties were divided into three groups by cluster analysis. They were high cold resistance group, middle cold resistance group and low cold resistance group. The next year, through the evaluation of cold resistance of six varieties of A.andraeanum under natural low temperature stress,it was concluded that Pandola,Alabama and Turenza were high cold-resistant varieties,Furore and Bugatti Royal were medium cold-resistant varieties, and Pink Champion was low cold-resistant varieties.2.The physiological index to reflect the cold resistance of varieties was discussed by analyzing the changes of physiological indexes of florescence of six varieties under different temperature. The effects of natural low temperature on chlorophyll fluorescence parameters Fv/Fm,relative electricity, malondialdehyde, soluble protein, soluble sugar, peroxidase and superoxide dismutase in leaves were studied. The chlorophyll fluorescence parameters decreased with the decrease of cold resistance and the change rate of relative conductivity increased with the decrease of cold resistance. The trend of other indexes was not related to the cold resistance of varieties.3.The effects of low temperature stress on four indices were investigated using the first-year seedlings of Alabama,Furore and Pink champion. The results showed that after low temperature stress, leaf cold injury index(LCI),petiole cold injury index(PCI)and leaf relative electricity were increasing. The chlorophyll fluorescence parameter Fv/Fm showed a downward trend, and the change rate of Alabama was slow,Furore was moderate, and Pink Champion was fast. This indicated that Alabama suffered less damage than Furore and Pink Champion.Three varieties and two new varieties of andraeanum 'C1','C2' were tested under low temperature stress. The cold resistance of the new varieties was identified by principal component analysis and cluster analysis with LCI,PCI,REC and Fv/Fm changing rates. The principal component score was ranked as 'C2'>'C1'>Alabama>Furore>Pink Champion.Clustering results showed that the five germplasms of A.andraeanum were classified into three groups:C2,C1,Alabama had the highest cold resistance,Furore had the moderate cold resistance and Pink Champion had the lowest cold resistance. The results were consistent with the cold injury symptoms of all the germplasms after low temperature stress, and C1 and C2 were identified as high cold resistance germplasms.
