The teaching mode of Pad class is put forward according to the actual teaching situation in recent years.The core idea of this model is that the classroom time was divided into two halves.One half of the time spends on teachers teaching and the other half of the time spends on group discussion and communication between students This ensures that students have enough time for autonomous learning and internalization.The Pad class teaching model emphasizes student’s learning methods of independent inquiry,discussion and communication,which are in line with the teaching concept of the new curriculum reform and secondary vocational training.Plant protection technology is a compulsory course for planting majors,and more attention has been paid to the classroom quality in secondary vocational garden colleges.However,the present situation of plant protection technology teaching was not optimistic in secondary vocational schools,and there were many problems,such as ignoring students subjective initiative,taking teaching as the core,and student’s learning was ignored;teachers paid more attention to examination results,but ignored the cultivation of innovative thinking ability and professional skills.In view of the above problems,this paper applied the Pad class teaching model to the teaching of plant protection technology course in secondary vocational school,in order to enhance students initiative and learning interest in plant protection technology course,and cultivate student’s independentability of thinking,inquiry and innovation.It was hoped that the result can provide a more effective teaching idea for secondary vocational school teaching.The main contents of this research are as follows: Firstly,the definition of the concept of "Pad class",and the application of constructivism and humanism to analyze the correlation study of Pad class teaching model;Secondly,the feasibility analysis of the Pad class teaching model in secondary vocational plant protection technology class;Thirdly,design the teaching ideas for the implementation of Pad class teaching model in secondary vocational plant protection technology;Finally,analyze the results of implementation of Pad class teaching model in secondary vocational plant protection technology.The main research methods are literature research,experiment and investigation.The following conclusions from this research were showed as below: The Pad class teaching model improved the teaching effect of plant protection technology.Student’s independentability of learning,inquiry andinnovation,and their learning performance were significantly improved;In the Pad class teaching mode,teacher played a guiding role in the learning process,student had more chances to think independently.Student changed from passive learning to active learning;Discussion and conmunication aroused student’s learning enthusiasm.The class atmosphere were improved greatly,the student’s learning interest had been enhanced,and the relationship between teachers and students were further harmonious.The Pad class teaching model greatly improved the teaching quality,and at the same time,the teaching efficiency was also improved. |
