| about 27 million tons, mainly distributed in Guangxi,Yunnan,Guangdong and other places, with the characteristics of concentrated production areas and low cost, but the utilization rate is less than 10%,which causes a lot of waste of resources. Therefore, from the perspective of production, this experiment explored the effect of adding different ferment starter to sugarcane tail on its silage quality, and studied its growth performance, blood and rumen fermentation by feeding sugarcane tail after silage to buffalo,so as to provide a reference for the development of suitable silage bacteria for sugarcane tail and the improvement of silage quality.Part 1:To explore the effect of adding different ferment starter to sugarcane tail on its silage quality. In this experiment,The sugarcane tail silage was produced by the following ferment starters:Lactobacillus.Plantarum+yeast(group G),Lactobacillus.Plantarum+Bacillus subtilis(group J)and Lactobacillus.Plantarum+Pediococcus.Pentosaceus+Lactobacillus.buchneri(group W),each group has 20 tons to ensure the consistency of silage raw materials, time, location and other factors. After the silage was unsealed, the silage samples were comprehensively analyzed in terms of sensory quality, nutritional composition, fermentation characteristics and bacterial microorganis-ms.The main results were as follows:1)the sensory evaluation score of group G was higher than that of the other two groups;2)the dry matter(DM),crude protein(CP)contents of group G and group J were significantly higher than those in group W(P<0.01),and the water soluble carbohydrate(WSC)contents of group G and group J were significantly higher than that of group W(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in crude fat(EE),neutral detergent fiber(NDF)and acid detergent fiber(ADF)among the three groups(P>0.05);3)the content of acetic acid in silage samples was the highest in group G,and the lowest in group W,which was 57.11 mmol/L and 15.44 mmol/L,respectively,with significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),but the content of p H,NH3-N,isobutyric acid, butyric acid and valeric acid in group W was significantly higher than the other two groups(P<0.05);4)high-throughput sequencing results showed that the species diversity of bacteria in the three groups had little difference, and the analysis of the flora structure showed that at the level of bacterial phylum, the proteobacteria abundance in Groups G and J were relatively high,53.95%and 63.18%,respectively,while the highest abundance in Group W was Firmicutes, which was 59.18%.And the dominant genus of group G and group J were Acetobacter and Lactobacillus, while that of group W were capticiproducens and Prevotella.Part 2:To explore the effect of sugarcane tail silage with different fermentation agents on the feeding effect of buffalo. In the experiment,30 Mora II and Guangxi local hybrid male buffaloes(310±8)kg aged about 18 months were randomly divided into 3 groups,10 in each group.Three groups of silage sugarcane tails were fed respectively. The pre-trail period was 10 days and the formal trial period was 51 days, the growth performance, rumen fermentation indexes, blood biochemical indexes, and rumen microflora indexes are measured. The results show that:1)The average daily gain(ADG)of group G is significantly higher than that of group J(P<0.05),the feed conversion ratio(F/G)is the lowest among the three groups, which is 33.00%lower than that of group J,and the feed conversion ratio(F/G)was reduced by 15.00%compared to the group W(P<0.01).2)In blood biochemical analysis, the content of creatinine in group G was significantly higher than that in group J(P<0.05),slightly higher than that in group W(P>0.05),except for these two indicators, there is no significant difference between the other indicators in the three groups(P>0.05);3)In terms of rumen fermentation indicators, the concentration of NH3-N in group G was significantly higher than that of the other two groups(P<0.01),The content of total volatile fatty acids(TVFA)was also higher than the other two groups but the difference was not significant(P>0.05);4)Sequencing analysis of the relative abundance of the top 10 species in the rumen fluid bacteria of the three groups, and it was found that the dominant bacteria in the three groups were Bacteroidetes,Firmicutes,Prevotellaceae and Ruminococcaceae at the phylum level and the family level. And the relative abundances of Fibrobacteres and Fibrobacteraceae in group W were significantly higher than those in the other two groups(P<0.01).Comprehensive analysis was carried out from the aspects of quality evaluation of silage and feeding effects in production, and it was found that the microbial preparations added by Lactobacillus.Plantarum and yeast were the best combination of bacteria in the three groups, the quality of the sugarcane tail silage added with this combination of bacteria is better, and the improvement of the buffalo production performance in the animal feeding test is more obvious. While obtaining a higher feed conversion rate,it has no adverse effects on the animal body. |
