In order to alleviate the stress of weaned piglets,reduce the changes of gastrointestinal tract and the growth inhibition in the early stage of weanling,compound probiotics and Radix Isatidis Polysaccharide were added to the feed of weaned piglets to observe the effects on the growth performance and immune function of weaned piglets.(1)Effects of compound probiotics and Radix Isatidis Polysaccharide on growth performance of weaned piglets.24 weaned piglets of 35 ±5 days old were randomly divided into 4 groups with 2 repeats per group and 3 piglets per repetition.The control group was only fed with basal diet,and the three treatment groups were fed with 0.30% compound probiotics,0.08% Radix Isatidis polysaccharides,0.30% compound probiotics + 0.08% Radix Isatidis polysaccharides,respectively.The experimental period is 40 days.Piglets were weighed on an empty stomach on the morning of the 1st,20 th and 40 th day,respectively,and the daily feed dosage and the amount of leftover feed were recorded.The results showed that there was no significant difference in initial average body weight among different groups(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in average daily feed intake,average daily gain and feed-to-weight ratio at the first stage of the experiment(0-20 d).In the second stage(21 ? 40 d),compound probiotics + Radix Isatidis polysaccharide group,the feed weight was 36.00% lower than that of the control group,the difference was significant(P < 0 05).(2)Effects of compound probiotics and Radix Isatidis Polysaccharide on immune level of weaned piglets.On the basis of the above experiments,blood samples were collected from 1 healthy weaned piglets on the morning of the 20 th and 40 th day,respectively,and the biochemical and immune indexes in serum were determined.The results showed that on the 20 th day,the contents of ALT,ALP,AST and BUN in the three treatment groups did not increase significantly(P>0.05),the content of LDH increased and TP decreased significantly.On the 40 th day,the contents of ALT and ALP were significantly increased in the three groups,but the contents of DH,AST and BUN were not significantly increased.The content of TP in the group of compound probiotics + Radix Isatidis polysaccharides was higher than that of the control group.On the 20 th day,the contents of Ig A,Ig G and Ig M in the treatment group were not significantly different.On the 40 th day,the contents of Ig A and Ig G in the compound probiotics + Radix Isatidis polysaccharide group were lower than those in the control group,and the Ig M content was decreased,there was no significant difference in content between groups(P>0.05).(3)Effects of compound probiotics and Radix Isatidis Polysaccharide on fecal microflora and diarrhea of weaned piglets.On the morning of the 20 th and 40 th day of the experiment,one healthy weaned piglet was randomly selected to collect fresh feces and the number of lactic acid bacteria and Escherichia coli were determined.The defecation of piglets was observed every morning and the diarrhea rate was calculated.There was no significant difference in the number of Escherichia coli and lactic acid bacteria between each treatment group and the normal control group in the whole experiment(P>0.05).The diarrhea rate of compound probiotics group,Radix Isatidis polysaccharide group,compound probiotics + Radix Isatidis polysaccharide group decreased by 52.53%,26.26% and 58.08%,respectively,and the difference was not significant(P>0.05).(4)Effects of compound probiotics and Radix Isatidis Polysaccharide on digestive function of weaned piglets.On the 16 th ? 20 th day and 36 th ? 40 th day of the experiment,one piglet was selected for fecal sample collection for 5 days,and the nutrient digestibility was determined.In the first stage of the experiment,the digestibility of crude protein in compound probiotics group,Radix Isatidis polysaccharide group and compound probiotics + Radix Isatidis polysaccharide group increased by 5.40%(P<0.05),7.51%(P<0.05)?3.11%(P>0.05)respectively;phosphorus digestibility increased by 6.52%,10.37% and 6.01%,respectively,and the difference was significant(P<0.05);the apparent digestibility of calcium increased by 9.01%,10.25% and 7.91%,respectively,and the difference was also significant(P < 0.05).In the second stage,the apparent digestibility of crude protein increased by 5.59%(P < 0.05),4.99%(P < 0.05)and 3.34%(P > 0.05),respectively;the apparent digestibility of phosphorus increased by 11.00%,13.52% and 10.65%,respectively(P < 0.05);the apparent digestibility of calcium increased by 5.42%,7.33% and 6.81%,respectively(P < 0.05).It was concluded that compound probiotics and Radix Isatidis polysaccharides can improve the growth performance,immune function and digestive function of weaned piglets to a certain extent.It can also improve the fecal microflora and diarrhea of weaned piglets.This provides a basis for the application of compound probiotics and Radix Isatidis polysaccharides in production and culture.
