Iigiri Tree is a plant of the Flacourtiaceae Idesia,a beautiful tree with bright red fruits that do not fall in winter.The fruits and seeds are rich in oil and the main components are unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acid and linoleic acid.Therefore,It is an excellent landscaping and oil tree.However,the seed germination rate is very low under natural conditions,usually only about 20%,and the germination is not orderly.The relevant research on cutting propagation is also scarce,which brings great inconvenience to the research,development and utilization of Iigiri Tree,and affects the promotion and application.In order to breed more seedlings and carry out planting seedlings,this paper studied the seed germination characteristics and the cutting technique of shoots,in order to obtain the best treatment of seed germination and cutting growth,the main conclusions are as follows:1.In this experiment,the seed in yangxi town,guizhou province were used as materials to study the seed germination characteristics.The main conclusions are as follows:?1?In the seed permeability test,the water absorption rates of intact seed and dewaxed-treated seed reached the saturation state at 4.5 hours,respectively 59.63%and74.49%,meeting the physiological need of germination.Therefore,seed coat is not the factor that affects seed germination.?2?In the test of seed viability,the viability of seeds was 95.33%±3.08%,indicating that the seed has high viability and great germination potential.?3?The effect of hormone soaking on the germination index of seeds showed that the soaking of GA3 with 300mg/L and 400mg/L significantly promoted the germination potential,and increased the germination potential from 47%to about 65%.In actual production applications,the germination was pursued.Uniform and consistent,shortening the germination cycle,can be treated with 300mg/L of GA3;the germination rate of all treatments in this study is above 90%.If the germination rate is more concerned in actual production,from the perspective of cost saving,hormones may not be used.Treatment,and germination was carried out using the environmental conditions designed in this test.2.In this experiment,the seedlings cultivated by the seeds of Iigiri Tree in Yangxi Town,Guizhou Province were used as experimental materials,and the semi-lignified soft-wood were selected for cutting.The effects of cutting rooting process,cutting substrate and IBA concentration on the growth of cuttings were studied to obtain the promotion of cuttings.,the main conclusions are as follows:?1?Under the treatment of IBA,the rooting method of the branch of Iigiri Tree was inserted into the roots,can take root under cutting conditions under normal conditions too,but the rooting speed is slower,and IBA treatment accelerates the rooting process.After 7d,the callus grew at the base of the cuttings;after 10 days,the cuttings began to root;10d-30d,the adventitious roots were formed in large quantities.?2?IBA treatment can significantly improve the rooting effect of cuttings.The rooting index of cuttings treated with 500-2500mg/LIBA solution was significantly different from that of the control,but there was no significant difference in the rooting index of cuttings under different IBA concentrations.Therefore,in practical applications,the lowest concentration of500mg/L could be used for treatment.?3?In the experiment of the effect of substrate on the soft-wood cutting propation techniques,the substrate type had significant effects on the length?surf area?tips?forks.Substrate V?perlite?:V?grass soil?=1:1 performed best,followed by V?perlite?:V?grass soil?=2:1.Through the above research,the germination characteristic of seed was clarified,and the suitable hormones and concentrations for promoting seed germination were screened out.The optimal concentration and matrix of IBA for cutting of cuttings were obtained.To provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for industrialized seedling cultivation and application in actual production.
