Study On The Comprehensive Evaluation And Landscape Application Of Xanthoceras Sorbifolium Bunge

Xanthoceras Sorbifolia Bunge,as a biomass energy tree species,has been studied mainly from the aspects of energy development and variety breeding,but little attention has been paid to its ornamental characteristics and garden function,therefore,the landscape greening value of Xanthoceras Sorbifolia Bunge was directly affected.In this paper,the phenological period and traits of flowers,fruits,leaves,branchesleaves of twelve kinds of Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge cultivars(strains)which planted in Yinchuan Botanical Garden were investigated in detail,and selected 31 personality traits,used AHP method to comprehensively evaluate the ornamentality of Xanthoceras.Based on this,suggestions and strategies for landscape application of Xanthoceras sylvestris were put forward,aiming at screening excellent Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge varieties(strains),and give full play to its landscape role.The results of this study are as follows:1.The investigation of the characters of different parts of Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge was the basis for the selection of ornamental evaluation indexes,and its characteristics were also the key to tree species selection in landscaping.The flowers,fruits,leaves and branches of Xanthoceras were highly ornamental,The best flower viewing period of twelve kinds of Xanthoceras was from April 23 to May1,and the flowering period of the same forest can reach one month.Single flower,single bunch of inflorescence,and single plant have various colors;the best fruit viewing period was from May 20 to July 25,and the fruit period was earlier than other plants.2.Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to construct a comprehensive evaluation on the ornamentality of Xanthoceras sorbifolium which including target layer(A),constraint layer(C),sub-constrained layer(C-),index layer(P),and bottom layer(D)to be evaluated model.Constraint layers were the ornamental traits(C1),resource potential(C2),and human values(C3)of Xanthoceras sorbifolium.The sub-restraint layer was subdivided into branch traits(C1-1),flower trails(C1-2),leaf traits(C1.3)and fruit traits(C1-4)based on the ornamental traits.The index layer was 31 evaluation indicators reflecting the constraint layer.Constraint layer with the highest proportion of ornamental traits;sub-constraint layer weight order was C1-2>C1-4>C1-3>C1-1,with flowers as main ornamental parts;index layer weight order P26>P14>P9>P11>P29>P12)P24>P8>P27>P6>P30>P19>P28>P5>P1>P22=P23=P20>P7>P10>P31>P25>P15>P3>P8>P18>P17>P13>P2>P16>P4,the weight of growth adaptability was the largest,followed by flowering period,flower amount and flower color.3.According to the total weight of the comprehensive evaluation model of Xanthoceras sorbifolium ornamental traits,the ranking of the comprehensive ornamental traits,resource potential,and humanistic values indicated that the viewing of ’Golden Purple Crown’,’Xanthomonas 0901’ and’Guanshuo’ have the highest ornamental value,and have strong adaptability in Ningxia,Can be used as a key promotion of ornamental tree species.4.According to the characteristics of different varieties of Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge and landscape design techniques,the application forms of Xanthoceras sorbifolium were summarized,including residential areas and garden greening,park greening,ecological greening in difficult site conditions,and ecological tourism greening resources.
