In the context of the implementation of a comprehensive policy to stop natural forest logging in key state-owned forest areas, forest industry groups had taken various measures to explore the industrial transformation of forest areas and the steady development of new formats.Facing the problems of resettlement of surplus employees due to the suspension of logging, forest companies provided skills training for forest households, through the promotion and popularization of forestry knowledge,to achieve the second entrepreneurship and re-employment of laid-off workers,so as to achieve economically sustainable development of state-owned forest areas, and promote the social harmony and stability of forest areas. This study elaborated the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of skill training, and described the status of skill training in key state-owned forest areas in detail. It summarized the remaining problems and analyzes the reasons by using the field survey data of 87 forestry bureaus in key state-owned forest areas to apply The Logit model explored the influencing factors of forest households participating in skill training, and used the propensity score matching method to verify the net income-increasing effect of skill training. On this basis, based on the multiple regression model system,it explored the differences in the effect of different training models on forest households' effectiveness. The results of the study showed that:forestry households with higher education level and more capital and time cost in production and operation were more willing to participate in various skills training;skill training had income-increasing effects on production and operation forestry households, but the contribution was not outstanding; In the training model, the training organizers and training methods showed significant negative and positive correlations with forest household income, respectively. The training conducted by general training institutions, recruitment enterprises and other organizers had a more obvious effect on the income growth of forest households. The skill training carried out in the form of classroom teaching had a greater effect on the income growth of forest households.Aiming at the results of skill training on the income-increasing effect of production and operation forest households and the problems caused by this reaction, some suggestions were proposed to further improve the training effect. This study conducted in-depth research on the influencing factors of production and operation forestry farmers participating in training, the income-increasing effect of training, and the training model conducive to the increase of forestry farmers' income. The research ideas and research results were helpful to help the training organizers improve the training model.Let forest households receive more practical training, increase forest household production and operation income, and then ease the pressure of forest area transformation and employment.
