Study On Application Of Street Trees On Main Roads In Xiangtan City

The street tree is the crowning touch of road greening,and it is an important carrier that intuitively reflects the city’s style and cultural characteristics.With the rapid development of urban construction,the traffic pressures carried by urban roads continue to increase,the adjustment of road cross-sections,the deterioration of road environment and the increasing landscape awareness of people have raised the development of street trees under the new situation.Requirements.To do a good job in the planning and construction of an urban roadway tree,we must first investigate the basic characteristics of the city,the current status of the street tree,and conduct relevant research and analysis based on the obtained data.This paper investigates and studies the application status of 50 main roads in Xiangtan City,and consults relevant literature and materials.On-site field survey and statistics of road conditions,street tree species and habits,configuration forms,growth trends,maintenance and landscape effects,etc.According to the survey results,the statistical classification of street tree species,the analysis of street tree function and the analysis of street tree landscape effect in the main roads of Xiangtan City are summarized.The current situation of the main roads in the urban area is summarized.The existing problems are found,the reasons are analyzed and corresponding optimization suggestions are put forward.The main research results of this thesis are as follows:(1)There are 10 tree species of 50 roads in the urban area of Xiangtan City selected by the investigation and research.However,the frequency of use of different street tree species is not high.Basically,only a few roads use different tree species.Among them,38 are the street trees,accounting for 76%,which is far higher than other tree species.(2)The ratio of evergreen leaves is 3:1.The urban roadway trees are mainly evergreen trees,and the stable green shade created by the evergreen street trees can not plant the Xiyang vegetation,which reduces the vegetation level and richness.(3)Among the 50 roads surveyed,there are only 29 roads with good growth conditions,only 58%,that is,42%of the street trees grow generally or poorly;8 roads are not effectively maintained.,accounting for 16%,the planting of the early stage trees and the maintenance of the late stage have problems,which makes it difficult for the street trees to display their proper landscape features in a sustained and healthy manner.(4)Among the 50 roads surveyed and studied,the roads with good landscapes accounted for 11 of them,the effect was generally 33,and the poor effect was 6;only 22%of the roads could show better landscape effects,plus the previous summary The related problems have jointly led to the poor performance of the main roads and trees in the urban area of Xiangtan City.Under the current situation,we must combine the research work of the current situation of urban street trees in Xiangtan City to enhance the concept of planning and design,and advocate the main tree trees with deciduous trees,supplemented by evergreen trees,and each with its own science.In addition,it is necessary to scientifically maintain management,give play to subjective initiative,ensure the sustainable development of road greening,do a good job of eliminating and updating the road trees,and take a more comprehensive view of the overall planning of the trees and trees in Xiangtan City.The investigation and analysis of the main road trees in the urban area of Xiangtan City can provide a basis for the planning of the tree species in Xiangtan City,further improve the urban road landscape,enhance the overall appearance of the city,and hope to provide certain construction for other nearby cities and regions.reference.
