Investigation And Evaluation Of The Current Situation Of Changsha Street Tree

With the acceleration of urbanization,the sustainable development of cities is in the process of emphasizing.The construction of urban roads is not only a solution to the traffic problems of people,but also the comprehensive consideration of the urban road landscape and the urban ecological environment.The construction of modern urban road landscape is no longer for the sake of simple visual aesthetic needs,nor is it limited to the scope between road and road,but to promote the image of city,improve the ecological benefit of urban environment,and integrate the function of urban landscape.Perfecting the urban spatial structure is the goal,which closely links to the construction of urban road landscape with the sustainable development of the city.Therefore,as part of the urban road landscape,road trees are duty-bound to greening.Based on these aspects,our study takes present situation of tree-planting on 433 main roads in nine districts which include Yuelu District,Xiangjiang New Zone,High-tech Zone,Wangcheng District,Furong District,Tianxin District,Yuhua District,Kaifu District,Changsha County(including Jingkai District)in Changsha City as the research object.by Through literature review,the present situation and relevant theories of urban road greening construction both at home and abroad are studied.,We also combine with survey data of current situation of Urban Road Greening in Changsha City.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis on species diversity,regional characteristics,ornamental characteristics,rationality of plant configuration and seasonal changes of plants,and some reasonable suggestions for the construction of urban road trees greening in Changsha City are put forward.Its main findings are as follows:(1)Highlight the Landscape function of Urban Road Tree Greening.It is suggested that the construction of plant landscape should be combined with the traffic organization function such as passenger and vehicle shunt in the construction of road trees greening.In order to satisfy the shade effect of street trees,we should also take into account the safe passage of pedestrians,vehicles and combine the road tree with the green belt.We should alsoset up some facilities for people to rest and cool down to highlight the landscape function.(2)Pay attention to the landscape ecology of urban street tree greening.It is suggested that attention should be paid to the ecological nature of landscape in road tree greening,and follow the laws and habits of plant growth.Using evergreen tree species and deciduous tree species and color changing leaf tree species to match each other reasonably,and then form a variety of plants to form rich plant community levels,reflect the seasonal changes in urban road landscape,and create a good urban road three-dimensional ecological environment.(3)Reflecting the Landscape characteristics of Urban Road Tree Greening.The characteristics of each road in the city should be analyzed when the road tree greening is built,which is the main body of the urban road landscape construction,and the representative plant is chosen as the business card for each city road.This not only reflects the landscape characteristics of the road,but also makes people easy to distinguish every road in the city and impress.
