Morphological Characters Of Different Chaenomeles Spp. Germplasm And Main Components Dynamic Analysis Of Fruits

Chaenomeles is rich in plant variety resources and has many varieties.Some Chaenomeles have beautiful tree shape,flowers and rich fruit aroma,and their leaves and fruits also contain rich nutrients and medicinal substances,which have broad application prospects in edible,medicinal,ornamental and other aspects.However,the existing varieties are numerous and mixed,due to the easy hybridization of Chaenomeles,coupled with extensive management,which makes the raw materials single,processing performance low,fruit picking time unscientific,the industrialization of Chaenomeles development is seriously restricted.In this paper,the study on 16 Chaenomeles germplasm with high ornamental value and production value.First of all,based on morphological characters,conducte preliminary ornamental evaluation and classification.Secondly,based on the changes of transverse and longitudinal diameters and the contents of water content and nutrients,explore the optimum picking period for different ues.Thirdly,based on the water content,nutrient content and seed yield in early September,evaluate the fruit quality and the value of production.Finally,based on morphological characters and fruit quality,evaluate the germplasm resources comprehensively.This paper provides a theoretical basis for the edible,medicinal and ornamental value of Chaenomeles,and has great significance for selecting,breeding and promoting high-quality Chaenomeles germplasm.The experimental results are as follows:(1)The Q cluster analysis result of 16 Chaenomeles germplasm based on morphological characters shows that the species of the Chaenomeles germplasm were not completely consistent with the reference species known before the survey.Among them,GP01,GP02 and GP03 belonged to C.sinensis.ZP01,ZP02,ZP03 belong to C.speciosa;MY01,MY02,MY03 belong to C.cathayensis;XZ01,XZ02 belong to C.thibetica.However,RB01,RB02,RB03,XZ03 and ZP04 were not consistent with the reference species.(2)By consulting the literature on ornamental plants,the author evaluates the ornamental value of the Chaenomeles according to the morphological characters,and concluds that GP03,ZP04,RB01 and RB02 had the highest ornamental value among 16 Chaenomeles germplasm.They were suitable for planting in urban streets,parks and gardens.(3)According to the comprehensive evaluation on the nutritional quality of fruit,the fruit nutritional quality of MY03 was the highest in early August.(4)In order to obtain higher economic benefits,the best time to pick C.sinensis is late September,and the best time to pick C.speciosa,C.cathayensis,C.japonica are early August to late August.(5)After comprehensive consideration of the results of morphological characters,fruit quality and principal component analysis,it is concluded that MY03,ZP01,MY02 and ZP03 have greater fruit quality and lower ornamental value.ZP02,MY01,RB02 and RB03 have both fruit quality and ornamental value of trees.GP01 and GP03 have greater ornamental value but lower fruit quality.
