The tea of the Tang Dynasty was an important period of development for the ancient Chinese tea,which laid a solid foundation for the development of Chinese tea and was an indispensable part of the development of the Chinese tea industry.Exploring the Tang Dynasty tea has both historical significance and practical significance,and has a certain role in promoting the continuous deepening of the research on the history of tea industry and economic history in ancient China.This paper starts with the Tang Dynasty tea,combines ancient books,local chronicles,and current research progress,and uses literature research methods,quantitative historical methods,GIS technical mapping methods,and comparative research methods to analyze the tea production areas and yields in the Tang Dynasty,and the reasons for the prosperous development of the Tang Dynasty tea.And in-depth research in three aspects.The first part is about the tea production area and output of the Tang Dynasty,which is based on the analysis and integration of previous studies to draw conclusions.Data and visual comparison and analysis of the tea production areas in the Tang Dynasty were conducted to explore the changes in the planting areas of the tea production areas in the two periods of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and the late Tang Dynasty.It is concluded that there are 44 tea prefectures in the prosperous Tang Dynasty and 114 tea prefectures in the late Tang Dynasty;and the chart analysis is used to summarize the distribution characteristics of the tea production areas in the Tang Dynasty: First,the tea prefectures are distributed from aggregated to widely dispersed;Chazhou expanded from mainly concentrated in the Yangtze River Basin to the major river basins;third,from the perspective of latitude and longitude,the longitude range of the tea—producing area did not change much,and the latitude changed a lot;fourth,it was initially formed by the Tang Dynasty from the current Tang Dynasty to the late Tang Dynasty The four major tea producing areas are now fully formed.According to sporadic literature and comprehensive analysis and speculation,the tea production of the Tang Dynasty can be glimpsed.It is speculated that the tea production is about 100 million catties in the present system,and the tea production per mu in the late Tang Dynasty is much higher than 45.7 kg / mu.The second part is the specific enumeration and analysis of the tea in the Tang Dynasty,from the administrative divisions,current location,specific sources,and comparison with modern historical data and other aspects of the Tang Dynasty tea.The conclusion shows that there are a large number of famous tea products in the Tang Dynasty,and a total of 181 teas have been verified.The tea in the Tang Dynasty is basically Jiangnan East Road,Jiangnan West Road,Jiannan Road,Shannan East Road,Huainan Road and Lingnan Road,accounting for the total number of tea names.84%;and compared with the most cited paper "On the Tang Dynasty Tea District and Famous Tea",a total of 40 famous teas have been added,but 14 famous teas have failed to find proof.The third part is an in—depth analysis of the reasons and historical significance of the development of the tea industry in the Tang Dynasty.It analyzes the economy,politics,culture,and natural conditions.From the good historical foundation before the Tang Dynasty,the foundation of the social and economic prosperity laid the foundation.The chaos in Anshi is the tea of the Tang Dynasty.The opportunity for the development of the industry,the advocacy and influence of people from all walks of life,the analysis and discussion of the reasons for natural conditions and water transportation;from increasing financial revenue in the Tang Dynasty,prospering the culture and art of the Tang Dynasty,promoting national integration and neighborly relations in the Tang Dynasty,and laying the foundation for China The material basis of the development and spread of tea culture has promoted the gradual transformation of tea from material symbols to social and cultural symbols to explore its historical significance.The development of the tea industry in the Tang Dynasty is unprecedented,and its specific manifestations,development reasons and significance are difficult to cover.Each chapter selects its main points for specific exposition,and each chapter is well—defined but inextricably linked.The conclusion part briefly summarizes the viewpoints of this article and makes supplements.
