Classical swine fever (CSF) is caused by classical swine fever virus (CSFV), and it is a chronic or acute, febrile and highly contagious viral disease, also known as "hog cholera". In pig industry,CSF is a common disease which has brought huge losses to the pig production and development. The aim of this paper was to survey the classical swine fever antibody level of pigs from scale pig farms and scattering raising-households in Yongan City by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method, and to get a preliminary understanding of the immune effect of classical swine fever. The comparison of the classical swine fever antibody level between scale pig farms and scattering raising-households was also conducted. And the analysis of the reasons for the differences between them was carried out according to the clinical practice to provide the foundation for scientific prevention and control of swine fever. From 2013 to 2015,10 scale pig farms and 94 scattering raising-households in the city were selected and 2470 healthy pigs from them which had been injected swine fever vaccine 28-30 days ago, were blooded. The swine serum samples were detected using imported reagents to assay the classical swine fever antibody level by ELISA method. The resuLts showed that 2108 samples were antibody positive with the positive rate of 85.3%, and 1450 samples among them were from scale farms with antibody qualification rate was 94.8%, and the other 658 samples was from scattered raising households with the antibody pass rate of 70%.The resuLts indicated that the hog cholera antibody level of large-scale farms was much higher than that of scattering raising-households basing on the investigation, scattering raising-households in the breeding process shouLd reference scale farms breeding experience, learning the advanced epidemic prevention technology, enhance the immune effect of vaccine of classical swine fever, reduce disease occurrence, raise yield benefit, increase real income.
