Cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.)is a relatively high-yield and efficient worldwide vegetable crop,which is widely distributed throughout the world.Agronomic traits can directly reflect the performance of cucumber germplasm resources in production.Statistical analysis of agronomic traits of cucumber is beneficial to the selection and utilization of excellent traits in resources.In this study,35 mainstream dry cucumber varieties on the market were used as test materials,and 20 main agronomic traits were investigated.Correlation analysis,principal component analysis,and cluster analysis were performed among the traits,and quality traits of commercial melon were distributed.Statistics to provide guidance for the selection of cucumber varieties.Four varieties were selected from 35 cucumber varieties suitable for early spring cultivation in the Bohai Bay Rim region of China.The main results are as follows:1.Multivariate statistical analysis of main characters of dry cucumberThe main component analysis of the main characters of dry cucumber was concluded that the differences among different materials mainly came from the main vine length,leaf area,single melon weight,ratio of melon ratio,cavity diameter,and soluble solids.According to relevant analysis,the length of main vine,leaf area,and number of main vines determine the growth period of the result and the end of the result.The ratio of cucumis,cavity diameter and soluble solids determines the appearance quality,flavor quality and edible part of dry cucumber The proportion of the length of the melons and the length of the melons determines the weight of the melons.The statistics of the quality traits of commercial melon showed that the 35 cucumber varieties were all South China type cucumbers;there were obvious differences in melon length,melon shape,thorn color,pulp color,and heart cavity color.Cluster analysis showed that 35 varieties showed diversity and could be divided into seven morphological groups.2.Comparison test of winter and spring crops in solar greenhouseAnalysis and comparison of the botanical characteristics of each variety yielded 'Tianjiao 7','Tianjiao 8','Future 103','Future 102','Lvzhu 8','Golden Crown 1102','1904 ',' 1907 ',' 1901 ',and' Jianli No.4 'performed well;through analysis of the characteristics of the commercial melon,' Tian Jiao 8 ',' Future 102 ',' Future 103 ',' Nuoyan 2 ','Golden Crown' 1102 ',' Lvbaozhu 8 ',' 1903 ',' 1904 ',' 1907 'performed well;through analysis of production,it was concluded that' Tianjiao 7 ',' Tianjiao 8 ',' Future 103 ','Lvbaozhu No.8','1904','Jingli No.4' and '1906' performed excellently;through analysis of disease resistance,'Tian Jiao No.8','Tian Jiao No.10','Future 103','Future 102','Green Orb 8','1904',and '1906' performed well.Based on the analysis of botanical traits,commercial melon traits,yield and disease resistance of various varieties,according to the requirements for dry cucumbers in production and in the market,'Tianjiao No.8','Future 103',and 'Lvbaozhu No.8' ',' 1904 'has excellent performance and can be used as a popularized variety in early spring sunlight greenhouses.
