All the mini- cucumbers being planted for exporting are introduced form abroad with the characteristics of vigorous growth, parthenogenesis, high yield and quality, and meeting the requirements of exporting recently. The variety of this type has not been breed in China so far.We introduced 10 varieties of this type from abroad. With selection, evaluation and the continuous self-pollination, two whole female parent lines were developed. Line A is green base fruit and hairless surface with few convexities, while line B with green base fruit and short thin thorn. When in 2-3,5-6 leaves stage, treated with 1000ppm GA3 to generating female flower, the line B was crossed with line A to produce F1 combination, and new elite F1 hybrid for processing was obtained. The results of field experiment show that the plants of new F1 grow vigorously, parthenogenesis, early maturing with high yield and resistance to disease, good commercial quality, and stable properties of female flowers, 100% female plant, commercial and process quality corresponds with the request of export. Above all, including protective cultivation, supplying fully the base fertilizer, sowing in time and planting with well density, hanging with net, well-priming, with favorite fertilizer and water supply, integrated management of insect and disease, harvesting in time and rapid transportation, the technique rule for new whole female mini-cucumber variety of processing with high yield was established.
