Research On Development Countermeasures Of The Beef Cattle Industry In Chifeng City

As a relatively poor area supported by the state.Chifeng City has has gradually formed the development mode of standardized scale animal husbandry and industrialized operation with the support of national policies and the industrial structure,through the adjustment of industrial structure,and the transformation upgrading of production and operation modes.The implementation of the strategy of "Green Agriculture" and "Scientific and Technological rejuvenation of Animal Husbandry",with beef cattle industry as the main focus,has played a tremendous role in increasing the income of farmers and herdsmen,speeding up industrial poverty alleviation,and revitalizing pastoral economy.Firstly,the concept of beef cattle industry is defined,and the current situation of beef cattle industry in Chifeng City is fully analyzed from the angle of breeding,processing and circulation by using the theory of the Value Chain and Comparative Advantage.Feeding supply,beef cattle breed resources,distribution of breeding area and breeding situation were taken as the contents in the process of breeding.It was known that Chifeng City was located in the "Golden Maize Zone".Feeding supply was sufficient,beef cattle stocks increased year by year,and beef production also showed upward trend.Processing links take processing enterprises,processing forms and capabilities as their contents.It is known that beef cattle processing capacity in Chifeng City has been continuously improved,modern slaughtering technology has been gradually applied,and processing enterprises have developed rapidly.The circulation link takes beef cattle sales,transportation and beef consumption as its content.It is known that beef cattle in Chifeng City have more sales channels.Beef consumption is 7.5 kg/person,which is about 4.2 times that of residents in farming and pastoral areas(1.78 kg/person).The consumption of beef in farming and pastoral areas is still less.The total mileage of Chifeng’s highway is 27,000 km.Four railways are operated and 11 routes are opened.The three-dimensional and convenient transportation network can basically reach the surrounding cities radiating rapidly.After a comprehensive analysis,we know that the outstanding problems of current development are: shortage of funds,reduction of basic cows,feed and beef cattle,beef quality and safety,low cultural quality of industry practitioners,and so on.Secondly,on the basis of these,the Grey Correlation System model is used to measure the influencing factors of beef cattle industry in Chifeng City as variables,and to understand the correlation between influencing factors and beef cattle industry development.The order of correlation degree between each variable and beef cattle industry output value was as follows: the number of beef purchased per capita in cities and towns(0.7110)>the expenditure on meat,eggs and milk per capita in cities and towns(0.6919)>the annual disposable income of urban residents(0.6365)>the maize yield in Chifeng City(0.6400)>the number of workers in Township animal husbandry and veterinary stations(0.6067)>the GDP index in Chifeng City(0.5990)>the number of beef cattle farms in Chifeng City(0.4522)Thirdly,through the analysis of the successful experience of the developed beef cattle industry areas,such as the United States,Argentina,Japan and Tongliao,the enlightenment to the development of beef cattle industry in Chifeng City was brought.We should carry out scientific planning,combine with the planning concept of "Planting for breeding and pasturing",attach importance to economic results and ensure the sustainability of ecological development,formulate favorable policies for beef cattle industry,speed up industrial scale,improve automation level,and increase personnel input and cultivation.Finally,the countermeasures are put forward to alleviate the current development problems of beef cattle industry in Chifeng City,namely,to implement the industrial support policy,increase financial input,pay attention to product quality so as to improve market competitiveness,pay attention to personnel quality training and strengthen supervision.
