Research On The Current Situation And Development Of My Country's Beef Cattle Industry Under The Background Of The COVID-19 Pandemi

"Cattle is the treasures of farmers,without the help of cattle,the efficiency of work can’t be high even if the laborious people get up very early to work every day." Cattle have always played an indispensable role in China’s agricultural production.In the past,the value of cattle is mainly embodied in production.After the founding of New China,we really attach importance to and develop the beef cattle industry.Although the stock of beef cattle in China shows an overall trend of fluctuating growth in recent years,and beef production is also increasing year by year,due to objective factors such as late start of the industry and weak technical level,the production capacity of beef cattle still lags far behind that of industrial developed countries.Therefore,we still need to import large amount of beef.At the end of 2019,the COVID-19 epidemic broke out and began to spread around the world,which had a significant adverse impact on China’s beef cattle industry.With the resumption of work and production after the epidemic peak and the establishment of a national normal prevention and control system,there is an urgent need to accelerate the development of China’s beef cattle industry to promote product optimization and upgrading,production capacity,quality and efficiency and sustainable development of the industry.First of all,this paper takes China’s beef cattle industry as the research object,combined with literature research and data collection,to study the current situation of China’s beef cattle industry before and after the occurrence of COVID-19.This paper analyzes and predicts the impact of the epidemic on China’s beef cattle industry from four aspects: The balance of supply and demand,breeding model,cold chain import and consumption pattern.It is found that although there are mainly negative effects in the short term,in the long run,the beef cattle industry will usher in more development opportunities.After that,this paper uses the grey relational analysis method to analyze the factors that affect the development of beef cattle industry.The results show that:(1)The construction of beef breeding farm and improved breed breeding system is of fundamental significance for the healthy and stable development of beef cattle industry in China.(2)Beef consumption is the power source to promote the continuous increase of beef cattle production capacity in China.(3)The development of ruminant feed products plays a key role in improving the production level of beef cattle.(4)The appropriate improvement of breeding density and large-scale level is of great significance to improve the breeding efficiency of beef cattle.Based on the above research conclusions,by drawing lessons from the development experience of other industries under the double circular economy model and the advanced experience of foreign beef cattle industry,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for the development of China’s beef cattle industry in the post-epidemic era:(1)Strengthen the construction of beef farms and improved breed breeding system to cultivate domestic improved beef cattle germplasm resources.(2)Integrate ruminant feed production with beef cattle production to promote the development of industrial circular economy.(3)Strengthen the intensive processing ability,brand construction and marketing means of beef cattle products,and enhance the market competitiveness of beef cattle products.(4)Optimize and adjust the industrial structure and improve the level of large-scale and intelligent aquaculture breeding.
