The Status And Countermeasures Of Beef Industry Development In Fuzhou City

The income levels and consumption levels of urban and rural residents have increased,so the meat consumption structure obviously changed,especially that the beef consumption significant increased.In recent years,the beef cattle industry in Fuzhou City has developed significantly,but some problems behind the development are also highlighted.In this paper,it analyzes the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,and threats of the beef cattle industry in Fuzhou City by collecting various literature,meeting materials,document notifications,and online materials,as well as by investigation.It concludes four major advantages,geographical advantages,cost advantages,local breeding mode advantages and resource advantages;three major disadvantages,reduction in the stocks of fertile cows,the low enthusiasm for cattle-raising and the lagged slaughter and processing of beef cattle;three major opportunities,high price of beef,huge market potential with price stability,increased policy support,adjustment of production structure,and adaptation to new era development;three major threats,beef quality and safety issues,environmental pressure,threat of diseases.Finally,it proposed favorable countermeasures for the development of beef cattle industry in Fuzhou City with the SWOT situation analysis.Countermeasures for beef industry development in Fuzhou City:(1)Strengthening the government's macro control ability to the beef cattle industry;(2)Building good market environment,and enhancing the competitiveness of beef cattle products;(3)Planning of industrial development layout scientifically,and focusing on the development of beef cattle;(4)Popularizing the rational model of beef cattle breeding,and guiding beef cattle scale,market culture;(5)Grasping beef cattle breeding publicity and technical training;(6)Strengthening slaughter regulation,and standardizing the slaughter industry standard;(7)Promoting the construction of the social service system of veterinarians,and improving the ability of disease prevention and control.
