Comparative Study On The Investigation And Treatment Of Schools In Jilin Area Of Pathogen Of Canine Distemper

China is the largest pet breeding country in the world and the number of the dogs has reached 150 million. Canine distemper is one of the highest rates of deadly infectious diseases, which spread rapidly in our country and caused great threat to the canine farming. Etiology survey of canine distemper was reported in many provinces and cities in China, but the statistical analysis has not yet been comprehensive. Investigation and study of canine distemper pathogen was carried out in Jilin City and they put forward the corresponding control measures according to the actual survey result.We have a survey on canine distemper pathogen of sick dogs in four animal hospitals in Jilin City from family, farms, pet market, pet store and stray dogs, the result were detected by colloidal gold strip. The month, local farmers, temperature, type, age, sex, breed and immune factors are analyzed. The results showed the highest positive rate of canine distemper is 24.81% and 23.61% in February and July respectively. The positive rate of canine distemper was significantly correlated with the fluctuation of temperature; the highest positive rate is 28.12% and 24.66% on average temperature-13.5 ℃and 21.5℃. The positive rate is relatively stable from-7.5℃ to 7.5℃. The surrounding suburbs and floating population is hardest-hit areas of the disease, but the rural and urban areas is relatively light; the positive rate of pet dogs and stray dogs in market transactions up to 21.67% and 19.48% in different types of culture; For species, Labrador Retriever, Alaskan Malamute, pastoral dogs is the highest positive rate was 29.41%, 28.57% and 27.59% respectively; Age and gender has nothing to do with the positive rate. Vaccination can significantly reduce the positive rate of the disease.61 cases of canine distemper in four animal hospitals in Jilin City were treated by 5 kinds of treatment regimens. The results of treatment show that treatment 1 has significant effect on mild and severe canine distemper of family companion dog, farm dog and pet shop dogs. The emergency and critical canine distemper can be adopted treatment 5. Treatment 2 is suitable for stray dogs, experimental dogs and farm dogs. The scheme 4 is a good treatment in the later stage of canine distemper. This research provided a theoretical support and reference for the control and the treatment of different clinical types of canine distemper.
