The tracked chassis is widely used in fields such as agricultural production,construction engineering,military and unmanned exploration with its excellent ability to adapt to the environment and the ability to climb and cross the road.In agriculture,it is often used in chassis running systems for tractors,harvesters,seeders and other equipment.In order to improve the adaptability of the agricultural tracked chassis to the working environment and to protect the topsoil of cultivated land,this paper has designed a crawler height adjustable tracked chassis,which can improve the grip and passability of the tracked chassis in the wet and soft paddy fields by adjusting the height of the track and thrust.To reduce the wear of the grouser when walking on hard surfaces.Through virtual prototype simulation and physical prototype test,it proves that the crawler site can adapt well to the complex operating environment and provides a set of feasible solutions for the selection of tracked chassis.This article focuses on the design and experiment on agricultural tracked chassis with height-adjustable grouser:(1)By consulting the domestic and foreign literatures related to agricultural tracked chassis,we can understand the research status and development trends at home and abroad,understand the characteristics of the structure and working methods of agricultural tracked chassis,and determine the research plan on this basis;(2)Study the mechanical characteristics of typical soils in southern farmland,conduct shear test under different soil properties and test the subsidence of track shoes.At the same time,run performance tests for different track structure parameters to obtain track shoes with different structural parameters.The influence law of interaction between soils with different characteristic parameters provides experimental basis for designing key parts of chassis with adjustable height for trailing agricultural track;(3)Designed and calculated crawler retractable track shoes and track height adjustment control systems.According to the test results of soil mechanical properties,the structural parameters of the retractable traction and track shoes were determined.The four-bar linkage was used to push the pressure plate by the hydraulic system.The pressure was applied to the traction to adjust the height of the traction,and the strength of the track plate was alsomeasured;(4)Using the low-speed track module in the multi-body dynamics simulation software Recur Dyn to simulate the running performance of the designed crawler chassis,by setting hard ground and soft ground in line with the environment of the southern farmland,respectively The simulation analysis was carried out on the performance of the crawler undercarriage with straight-line,turning,climbing,obstacle-sweeping,and ditch-crossing under the height parameters.The effect of different track heights on the running performance of the crawler under different operating conditions was obtained;(5)The physical prototype of the agricultural tracked chassis was developed according to the ratio.Through testing the prototype's running performance in the indoor soil tank simulating soil environment of the farmland,the driving performance of straight-tracking,crossing-over,obstacle-obstructing and climbing was verified.The test results verified the virtual prototype simulation.The veracity of the results,these results will provide a reliable basis for the further improvement and optimization of the tracked height-adjustable agricultural track chassis.
