Based on the sub-project of the "Eleventh Five-Year" Science and Technology Support Project and special project of the national forestry research,using virtual simulation technology,the design method theory and advanced CAD/CAE software SolidWorks,ADAMS,ANSYS etc,the thesis does some research and analysis about tracked harvester.After discuss about application status of the domestic-foreign forest harvester and main over-obstacle form of chassis, based on construction equipment’s mature chassis technology, over-obstacle chassis is designed by using virtual technology,the location area of over-obstacle device is determined and optimized.The stability of over-obstacle chassis and tracked harvester is analysed.Based on crawler-soil theory,the relationships of over-obstacle angle with obstacle height and ground pressure are researched,the suitable over-obstacle angle and over-obstacle height are determined.By the application of virtual simulation software, the process of overcoming vertical obstacle about tracked harvester is simulated.According to the kinetic curves of motion,the mechanical strength of the static analysis about key parts is optimized Using the finite element software,the over-obstacle chassis’s performance of tracked harvester is tested on site.By overcoming different target obstacles,the feasibility of over-obstacle chassis is verified.
