Ketosis is a common disease in the perinatal period of dairy cows.It is one of the most serious diseases, which seriously affects the lactating performance and reproductive performance in dairy cow,and causes huge economic losses to the dairy industry. The prevention and curation of ketosis has become a hot and difficult point for dairy researchers. In this study, the blood physical and chemical indexes of Chinese Holstein cow were measured systematically in the late perinatal period, and the changes of blood physical and chemical indexes in ketosis dairy cows were clarified. The effect of parity and postpartum time on the occurrence of ketosis was analyzed. And the effect of ketosis on body condition and crossing times was investigated. The main results are as follows:1.In this study,48 blood physiological and biochemical indexes of 120 cows with ketosis and 120 healthy cows were measured and analyzed. The results showed that there were significant(p < 0.05)or extremely significant(p < 0.01)levels in 8 blood routine indexes(like RBC and MCV),7 blood biochemical indexes(like AST and AST/ALT),2 trace elements indexes(like Cd and Mg)in different clinical manifestation groups.Three blood routine indexes(RBC、MCH and NEUT%),three blood biochemical indexes(GLU、Na、Cl)and two trace elements indexes(Cd and Mg)had significant correlation with serum BHBA content(p < 0.05).These results indicated that there were significant changes in immunity, inflammatory reaction, liver function and magnesium ion content in ketosis cow.2.In this study, the effects of parity and perinatal period on the occurrence of ketosis were analyzed. The results showed that the proportion of ketosis in the second parity was significantly higher than that in the first parity(p < 0.05),and the serum BHBA content in the second parity was significantly higher than that in the first parity(p < 0.05).During the perinatal period, the serum BHBA content in the second parity was significantly higher than that in the first parity(p < 0.05).The proportion of cows suffering from ketosis increased significantly(p < 0.05),and the content of BHBA also increased significantly(p < 0.05)with perinatal period. The results showed that the parity and calving time had a significant effect on the occurrence of ketosis in dairy cows. The incidence of ketosis was the most in second parity, and the incidence of ketosis increased with perinatal period.3.In this study, the effects of ketosis on postpartum body condition and postpartum mating times were analyzed. The results showed that the highest proportion of samples was obtained when the body condition score was below 2.5.The proportion of samples increased with the increase of mating times. This indicated that ketosis would decrease the body condition score, and increase of postpartum mating times, and the decrease breeding efficiency. These results revealed the changes of blood pathology, and guide the prevention and treatment of ketosis, and reduce the economic losses of ketosis.
