Effect Of Eucalyptus Oil Emulsion On Sheep Mange

Eucalyptus oil is a pale yellow or colorless natural essential oil obtained from the distillation of camphor leaves,which is called "Chinese Eucalyptus oil" in international trade.China's oil camphor production accounts for a high proportion in the world,of which Sichuan's oil camphor production accounts for one third of the world's total output.The main components of eucalyptus oil are Eucalyptus oil,alpha-terpene alcohol,cineole and so on.Studies have shown that eucalyptus oil has bacteriostatic,insecticidal,analgesic,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant and anti-cancer effects.In clinical practice,eucalyptus oil emulsion is widely used,but the clinical trials of eucalyptus oil are not enough.In this experiment,we took sheep mite mites disease as the research object,and conducted a systematic study on the safety test,clinical trial and clinical expansion test of eucalyptus oil emulsion to provide support for its clinical application.The main results are as follows:1.safety test of eucalyptus oil emulsion in sheepHealthy Jianyang big ear sheep were randomly divided into four groups,8 in each group,including 1-fold clinical dosage group(1 mL/10 mL),3-fold clinical dosage group(1 mL/3.3 mL),5-fold clinical dosage group(1 mL/2 mL)and blank control group.Daub the drug twice a day for 7 days,of which the treatment dose was 1 fold of the clinical dosage group.After the end of the drug administration,we observed the change characteristics of eucalyptus oil emulsion on the histopathology and physiological and biochemical indexes of sheep by observing clinical signs,blood biochemistry,urine and autopsy.The results showed that sheep had no adverse reactions to eucalyptus oil emulsion at 5 times the clinical dosage(1 mL/2 mL)and below.2.clinical trial of eucalyptus oil emulsion100 Jianyang big ear sheep were randomly divided into 5 groups,20 in each group,including low dose group(1 mL/20 mL),medium dose group(1 mL/10 mL),high dose group(1 mL/5 mL),drug control group and blank control group.Daub the drug twice a day for 7 days.The middle dose group(1 mL/10 mL)was the therapeutic dose.After the end of the drug administration,the therapeutic effects of high and low dosage eucalyptus oil emulsion on sheep mange were observed by observing clinical signs,hematology andblood biochemical indicators.The experimental results showed that eucalyptus emulsion high and low dose group was effective and safe in the treatment of scabies mite,and the middle dose group(1 mL/10 mL)had a significant effect.3.clinical expansion test of eucalyptus oil emulsion100 Jianyang big eared sheep were randomly divided into 2 groups,50 in each group,including the control group and the eucalyptus oil emulsion group(1 mL/10 mL).2 times a day,7d was administered continuously.After the administration was finished,the clinical effects of eucalyptus oil emulsion on sheep mange were determined by observing clinical signs,hematology and blood biochemical indexes,and the adverse reactions of eucalyptus oil emulsion were observed.The experimental results showed that eucalyptus oil emulsion group(1 mL/10 mL)had no adverse reactions in the treatment of sheep mange,and was safe and effective.Compared with the normal group,the total serum protein(TP)content in the control group was significantly higher than that in the normal group.The total protein(TP)content in the eucalyptus oil emulsion group was lower than that in the normal sheep group after treatment,indicating that the positive drug had some side effects,while Eucalyptus emulsion had the function of alleviating liver damage.
