As an essential nutrient, trace elements are involved in almost all physiological and biochemical activities of animals and are essential additives in broiler diets. However, the trace elements of inorganic salts are easily oxidized, have low utilization rate, easily damage other feed components and cause environmental pollution.Although organic trace elements have a high utilization rate, their production costs are high and there is a lack of uniform standards, there application in actual production is subject to many limitations.Because of the special protective coating, the coated trace elements can avoid the reaction with certain active substances, improve the utilization of trace elements, reduce environmental pollution, and overcome the above disadvantages to a certain extent, but it is rarely used in broilers.Broilers have a relatively short growth cycle and a high demand for dietary energy. The oil has the advantages of high energy, easy absorption and low heat absorption, which can effectively promote animal growth and increase feed conversion rate, and is widely used in broiler production. But the oxidation of fat is an important reason for affecting the effect of adding fat to the diet, while the trace elements of inorganic salts additive can further catalyze the per-oxidation of the lipid.Due to the protective effect of the surface coating, the coated trace elements can avoid direct contact with the oil and reduce the catalytic effect of trace elements on fat oxidation. Therefore, this experiment is to study the effects of different forms of trace elements and oils in the diet on the performance, muscle quality and serum physiological and biochemical indexes of broilers, and provide a theoretical basis for the rational application of trace elements and oils in poultry production. The test uses a 2×2 two-factors factorial design, two factors are trace elements and oils. The trace elements are coated and uncoated, and the addition amount is 1 000 mg/kg?0.1%?;the oils are soybean oil and lard, and the addition amount is 50 g/kg?5%?.A total of 57621-days-old AA broilers with similar body weight and good health were randomly divided into 4 groups,12 replicates in each group,12 chickens in each group. The four treatments were treatment I?basic diet+uncoated trace elements+soybean oil?,treatment II?basic diet+uncoated trace elements+lard?,treatment III?basic diet+coated trace elements+soybean oil?and treatment IV?basic diet+coated trace elements+lard?.The test period was 21 days and ended when the broilers were 42 days old.The results showed that:1.The coated trace elements relative to uncoated trace elements could extremely significantly improve the growth performance of broilers,ADG was extremely significantly increased?P<0.01?,F/G was extremely significantly decreased?P<0.01?;soybean oil significantly increased the growth performance of broilers compared with lard,ADG was significantly increased?P<0.05?,and F/G was significantly decreased?P<0.05?.2.The coated trace elements relative to uncoated trace elements could extremely significantly increase the retention of trace elements Fe,Zn and Se in broiler chicken serum?P<0.01?.3.Compared with uncoated trace elements, the coated trace elements could significantly increase the serum T-AOC?P<0.05?,and extremely significantly increase the serum GSH-Px activity and SOD activity of broiler chickens?P<0.01?,and the coated trace elements could extremely significantly reduce the content of MDA in serum and muscle of broiler chickens?P<0.01?;soybean oil could significantly reduce the MDA content in the serum of broiler chickens compared with lard?P<0.05?,the content of MDA in the muscles of broilers with soybean oil had a downward trend?P=0.053?.4.Compared with uncoated trace elements, the coated trace elements could extremely significantly increase the LPL activity in the serum of broiler chickens?P<0.01?,and extremely significantly reduced the content of T4in the serum?P<0.01?;compared with the soybean oil,the lard could significantly increase the serum LPL activity in broilers?P<0.05?.5.Soybean oil significantly reduced the drip loss rate of broiler breast muscles and leg muscles relative to lard?P<0.05?,thereby improved meat quality.6.Trace elements and oils had no significant interaction with each indicator of broiler chickens?P>0.05?.Overall,compared with the uncoated trace elements, the coated trace elements could extremely significantly improved the growth performance, antioxidant performance and serum trace elements in broilers, which proved that it has higher utilization.Compared with the lard, the soybean oil could significantly improved the growth performance of broiler chickens, and the antioxidant performance tended to increase, and the soybean oil could improve the meat quality of broilers to some extent.Although trace elements and oils had no significant interaction with each index, the combination of trace elements and soybean oil had a better effect on growth, antioxidant and meat quality of broilers,so it is recommended to use a combination of“coated trace elements+soybean oil”in broilers diets.
