Application Of Trace Elements Analysis In Site Selection Of Cattle Farm

With the improvement of people's living standard,the demand for cattle and mutton is increasing.To this end,hunan plans to build a beef cattle farm,and two primary elections as the field of selection.For the sake of prudence,investors sent in samples of water,soil and plants,and commissioned us to measure the amount of metal elements and pesticide residues.This study is the result of the determination of metal elements in the samples of water,soil and plant.The random samples of biogas fertilizer,soil samples,water samples and grass around the candidate cattle farm A and the candidate cattle farm B were respectively processed,and was used inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry to measure the contents of Gu?Zn?Cd?Cr?Pb?Mg?Al?Na?K?Fe?Hg?Ca?As.1?The nutrient contents of soil from large-scale pasture which is nearby the candidate cattle farm A were as follows: Cr,As,Hg content were within the quality standards;Pb,Cu,Zn content were slightly higher than quality standards;Cd content was seriously higher than quality standards.The nutrient contents of soil from large-scale pasture which is nearby the candidate cattle farm B were as follows: Hg,Cr,As,Cu,Zn content were within the quality standards;Pb,Cd content was seriously higher than quality standards.2?There is no excessive amount of toxic heavy metal elements in the water samples of selected cattle farm A and farm B.The amount of trace elements necessary for the growth of cattle is within the national standard.3?The contents of Cr and Zn in plant samples of cattle farm A,and the contents of Cr and Mg in plant samples of cattle farm B were both slightly exceeded standard,while the contents of Pb,Cd and As were out of limits severely in plant samples of both farms.Trace elements in marsh soil,water and plant samples from the surrounding of two candidate cattle farms were detected by the method of ICP-AES in this research.Compared with the regulations for metal limitations in environmental quality standard for soil(1995)and quality standard for water(1995),conclusion was obtained that the trace elements in soil and plant samples were all out of limits in both cattle farms of A and B,so the candidate cattle farms did not suitable for building factory.
