Analysis Of Factors Influencing Farmers’ Ecological Awareness In Jiangsu Province And Countermeasures

At present,our country has pay attention to ecological environment construction.The report of the 18 th CPC National Congress proposed a new pattern of "five in one" socialism with Chinese characteristics in economic,political,cultural,social,and ecological construction.Rural ecosystems are an integral part of the entire ecosystem.At the same time,it is an inevitable requirement to building a new socialist countryside.However,in the rural it is still relatively weaker than cityIn the current research on the rural ecological environment,most of them use rural areas as the main body of research to find ways to solve rural ecological problems,while ignoring the micro-subject of farmers.There are few literatures on rural ecology in this respect.Farmers live in rural areas for a long time and their behavior is closely related to rural economy and ecology.As a result,whether farmers’ awareness is ecological or not is the key to rural environment condition.From the perspective of farmers’ ecological awareness,this article focuses on the key factors affecting farmers’ ecological awareness,commits to raising the level of farmers’ ecological awareness,encouraging farmers to produce ecological behaviors,and providing certain strategies for the promotion of rural ecological environment construction.In this study,Jiangsu rural areas are seclected as the research sites.From the perspective of farmers,six indicators of gender,age,education level,family annual income,occupation,and residence are selected to analyze the factors that influence farmers’ ecological awareness.On the basis of the above research results,we provide counter measures and suggestions to improve farmers’ ecological awareness.On the basis of the theory of ecology,sustainable development theory,the theory of man-earth relations,this paper taking the Jiangsu rural areas as an example,investigating the relevant farmers,the following conclusions were showed:(1)Ecological knowledge,ecological attitude,ecological assessment,ecological behavior constitude the ecological awareness index system.Ecological knowledge has a significant positive correlation with ecological attitude,ecological assessment and ecological behavior.Ecological assessment is significantly related to ecological behavior.Ecological attitude has no obvious correlation with ecological evaluation and ecological behavior.(2)The four variables of farmers’ educational level,annual family income,career,and the residence have a positive relationship with farmers’ ecological awareness level.In the survey,the female’s ecological awareness level is higher than that of the male.The level of ecological awareness of the 30-39 age group is higher than that of other age groups.(3)The ecological situation and problems in rural areas in Jiangsu were analyzed.As well as the analysis of conflicts of interest in rural ecosystem.To improve the ecological awareness of farmers and realize the ecologicalization of farmers’ behaviors,it is necessary to universal ecological knowledge education and encourage farmers to produce ecological behaviors.At the same time,it is necessary to actively promote cooperation among the players in the rural ecosystem.The government actively guides,clean production of enterprises,and environmental protection departments strictly enforce the law.First,formulate relevant policies from the institutional level to strengthen rural ecological construction.Second,reshape the concept of sustainable development from the conceptual level.
