The rubber roller husker is the main equipment for rice husking.How to shorten the production cycle of The rubber roller husker and reduce the cost of The rubber roller husker is a problem to be solved at present.In addition,due to the inconsistency of the wear and tear of the fast and slow rubber rollers in the rubber roller husker,the rubber roller husker needs to exchange the fast and slow rubber rollers in a certain period of work.How to reduce the time of changing the rubber rollers is also an urgent problem to be solved.Therefore,how to complete the production of a rubber roller husker as fast as possible and as cost-saving as possible and keep the rubber roller husker processing with high efficiency is of far-reaching significance for solving the problem of grain production in China.DFMA is the design for manufacturing and assembly.The basic goal of DFMA is to reduce the assembly time and manufacturing cost of products.Based on this goal,the assembly process of products is simplified by reducing the number of parts of products,and the material cost and processing cost of products are reduced.This paper combines DFMA with the design of rubber roller husker.By modularizing the rubber roller husker,DFMA analysis and redesign are carried out for the components of the hulling room.DFMA analysis found that there were some unnecessary parts and too complex structure in the hulling room,which would increase the assembly time and manufacturing cost of the hulling room of rubber roller husker.In addition,the DFMA analysis of the rubber roller exchange device of rubber roller husker also found that the traditional rubber roller exchange device takes too long to remove rubber rollers and exchange fast and slow rubber rollers,which will lead to a great impact on the daily grain production of rice mills.According to the DFMA criterion,a new design is carried out to solve these problems.This includes removing unnecessary parts of the hulling room or merging parts with the hulling room,designing the original tailor-welded structure of the hulling room as sheet metal bending structure,verifying the rationality of the design through finite element analysis,and designing the "heat" exchange rubber roller exchange device to solve the production loss during the rubber roller exchange.The results show that the new design can reduce 51.5% assembly time and 60.5% production cost of the hulling room,and the "heat" exchange rubber roller exchange device can complete the rubber roller exchange under the condition that the rubber roller husker is not shut down and production is not stopped,which will greatly reduce the production loss of enterprises.
