In view of the low efficiency of the existing mechanical picking of camellia fruit in camellia industry,the present situation of fruit picking and the characteristics of rubber roller machinery in agriculture was analyzed,a rotary type camellia fruit picking device with rubber roller was designed to improve the efficiency of camellia fruit picking.The 3D model of camellia fruit picking device was established in Pro/E software,and the principle of picking camellia fruit with rubber roll mechanism was analyzed and validated,kinematics and dynamics of key components and systems of prototype was simulated by means of Adams/view software.The physical prototype developed,and the experiment of camellia fruit picking and camellia flower bud damage was carried out,and the preliminary results obtained.The reference for the high efficiency harvesting of camellia fruit was provided with results of the study,and the following points are:(1)The whole picking scheme of camellia fruit was determined by modeling the picking environment and using the difference of the physical characteristics of camellia fruit,a kind of rotary type camellia fruit picking device with rubber roll was designed,and a 3D model of picking device was established in Pro/E.The theory shedding condition is obtained through the analysis of the process and principle of the rubber roll mechanism picking the camellia fruit.(2)Through the simulation analysis of contact collision between rubber roller and camellia fruit by Adams/view software,it was concluded that the speed of rubber roller should be greater than 11r/min when the camellia fruit was impacted and fell off the rubber roller.From the kinematics simulation analysis of the picking arm,the motion range of the picking head in the horizontal direction was up to 1311.08 mm,and in the vertical direction was up to 2681.72 mm.(3)An electric-driven physical prototype was developed,and the camellia fruit picking test and camellia flower bud damage test were carried.The results show that when range of the space between the upper and lower rubber roller of the picking head are set to 25 mm,and the speed of the rotary rack assembly was 30r/min,the diameter above 25 mm of the oil camellia fruit can be picked down quickly,and the camellia flower bud is not obviously damaged in the experiment.The experiment shows that the good effect of the prototype was achieved,not only camellia fruit can be pick efficiently,but also the damage of camellia flower bud was reduced effectively,in order to improve the picking efficiency,the device can be improved to be driven by hydraulic pump and studied in the outdoor High-yield Camellia fruit forest.
