As an important vegetable crop in the world,tomato plays an important role in vegetable market because of its good taste,good flavor and rich nutritional value.Therefore,tomato breeding has always been a hot spot in vegetable crop research.In recent years,with the improvement of people's living standard,people have higher and higher requirements for tomatoes,which not only need high yield and storability,but also look forward to its inherent nutritional value.Therefore,high quality tomatoes have gradually become the demand of the market.This experiment conducted a comparative experiment on the high quality tomato varieties provided by Henan Yuyi Seed Science and Technology co,Ltd.Through comprehensive evaluation of the main phenological period,plant traits,fruit traits and yield of 13 different tomato cultivars(Including large fruit tomato:Mangguowei tomato,Dahonghulu,Fenhonghulu;Medium fruit tomato:Huangjinguo,Weimeisi,Honghaier,Zibanma,Jinshouzhi;Small fruit tomato:Qiaokeli,Juanzhulian,Juanzhulian No.2,Qingchunzhige,Heibianse),six of the better cultivars were selected for low temperature tolerance evaluation,which provided the selection of high quality tomato varieties on the market.The research results are as follows:(1)Among the large-fruit tomatoes,Mangguowei tomato has the largest single fruit weight,which is 191.4g,it has the highest soluble solid content,which was 6.2%,it tasted fine,its fruit has no ventricles,basically all flesh.Among the medium-sized tomatoes,Jinshouzhi and Honghaier breed early maturity,Weimeisi has a high hardness,which was 2.6kg/cm2,and the soluble solid content was the highest,8.9%,and the taste was sweet.Among the small fruit tomatoes,the precociousness of Juanzhulian No.2 was the best,it has the highest soluble solid content,9.2%,and the single fruit weight was 11.8g.Qingchunzhige has the highest hardness of 3.0kg/cm2 and can be used as a storage-resistant variety.(2)In the low temperature test of seedling stage of six tomato varieties,Weimeisi,Qingchunzhige,Juanzhuliang No.2,Dahonghulu,Mangguowei tomato and Qiaokeli,with the prolongation of treatment time,the plasma membrane permeability of the six tomato seedlings increased,their electrical conductivity and MDA content increased,indicating that different varieties suffered different degrees of damage,but the increase of Dahonghulu and Qingchunzhige is small.Therefore,the cell membranes of the two varieties of Dahonghulu and Qingchunzhige are the least damaged and have low temperature resistance.(3)By comparing the field comparison of 13 tomato varieties and the low temperature resistance of seedlings of 6 tomato varieties,we can know Qiaokeli,Huangjinguo,Juanzhulian,Juanzhulian No.2,Qingchunzhige,Heibianse,Dahonghulu,Fenhonghulu,Zibanma,Jinshouzhi,Weimeisi,and Honghaier have better performance in the field,these tomatoes can be recommended as quality varieties in production;Mangguowei tomato as a characteristic variety,special color,delicate taste,also has a certain application value.Among them,Dahonghulu and Qingchunzhige are more suitable for early spring cultivation.
