Cotinus coggygria is an excellent local and colorful leaf tree species in China,and its garden application value is extremely high.However,the leaf colour and its changing periord is different among individuals.In this study,the Huangzangyu Natural Forest,Dangfangsi Nature Protention Area,Suzhou City,and the Jiagou Forest Farm in Suzhou City were selected as the research plots.The paper made variety selection regulation of Cotinus coggygria Scop..After the selection,recheck and final selection,3 excellent single trees with good ormamental traits were selected.The paper also studied on the effects of hormone concentration and substrate type on cutting rooting,for the region test of the plus trees and the observation of the stability of clonal offspring.And the author discussed the dynamic changes and correlations of physiological and biochemical indexes during leaf coloring,which laid the foundation for the breeding and application development of Cotinus coggygria Scop..The main results were as follows:(1)Based on the investigation of the germplasm resources of Cotinus coggygria Scop.in Suzhou City,Anhui Province,with the main selection indicator of strong growth,crown-shaped rounding,long flower and leaf viewing period,and clear leaf color,combined with the auxiliary indicators of tree height,DBH,branch point,phenology,for the first time,proposed the selection criteria for Cotinus coggygria Scop..It was strong tree,beautiful tree posture,rounded crown shape,no pests and diseases,flowering period of more than 50 days,early leaves with early color change and late leaves,bright leaves and most The viewing period is over 25d.(2)3 primary traits of Cotinus coggygria Scop.with excellent ornamental traits were obtained through primary selection,check,and final selection,respectively.Orange Huanghuang No.7 and Red Huanghuang No.8 were grown in the Huangzangyu Protection Area and Fuchsia Huangda No.33 were grows in the Dafangsi Nature Reserve.The health status of the selected excellent plants was first grade,the crown width was as high as 6.7m X 6.4m,the flower viewing time was more than 53d,the best viewing period of the leaves was more than 25d,and the leaf brightness parameter value was as high as 67.84,the leaf green/red parameters.The value a is as high as 60.16,the blade blue/yellow parameter value b is as high as 48.75,and the blade chroma parameter value C is as high as 68.94.(3)Using the IBA of 300mg/L,400mg/L,500mg/L and 600mg/L,the cuttings of the plus trees were treated for 30s,and the results showed that the concentration was 400mg/L,and the survival rate reached 57.78%.The number of rootings reached 6.57,and the root length was 8.53cm.Three kinds of substrates,such as river sand,river sand+perlite(1:1),vermiculite+perlite(1:1),were used for cutting the roots and rooting.The best effect matrix is vermiculite+perlite(1:1),the survival rate is as high as 73.33%,the number of rooting is 8.73,and the root length is 10.45cm.(4)During the change of leaf color of Cotinus coggygria Scop.,the dynamic changes of physiological and biochemical indexes indicated that the total content of chlorophyll decreased gradually from the beginning of October to the middle of November(October 1st to November 10th,2018),and the carotenoid content increased first.When the content of anthocyanin decreased,the content of soluble sugar and the pH of cell liquid increased slowly.The chlorophyll content of three excellent individual plants,Huanghuang No.7,Huanghuang No.8 and Huangda33,decreased by 2.019mg./g,3.336mg/g,2.977mg/g;carotenoids decreased by 0.320mg/g,0.335mg/g,0.329mg/g,respectively;anthocyanins increased by 9.04mg/g and 16.77mg/g,11.37mg/g;soluble sugar increased by 4.06 mg/g,5.08 mg/g,4.77 mg/g;pH rise values were 0.75,0.57,0.63.(5)The proportion of pigment content in the proportion of chlorophyll content,the proportion of carotenoids gradually decreased,the proportion of anthocyanins gradually increased,and dominated in the later period.The percentage of anthocyanin in Huanghuang No.7 increased by 74.29%.In the same period,the total content of chlorophyll and carotenoid decreased by 33.44%and 7.39%respectively.The percentage of anthocyanin in Huanghuang No.8 increased by 77.44%,total chlorophyll content and carotenoids.The percentage of anthocyanins in Huangda 33 increased by 69.39%,and the total content of chlorophyll and carotenoids decreased by 32.54%and 4.31%,respectively.(6)There is a certain correlation between leaf parameters and physiological and biochemical indicators.There was a significant negative correlation between the L value of the leaf color brightness parameters and the total chlorophyll content of the 3 plus tree.The leaf color green/red parameter a value was significantly negatively correlated with the chlorophyll a,b and total content,with anthocyanins,soluble sugar,The pH value was significantly positively correlated;the total chlorophyll content of the 3 plus tree was significantly negatively correlated with anthocyanin,soluble sugar and pH;anthocyanin was significantly positively correlated with soluble sugar and pH;soluble sugar and pH The values are all significantly positively correlated.
