| Gesneriaceae plants are naturally distributed in a rich species and in different forms with good ornamental value.Primulina is a genus of Gesneriaceae with high ornamental values,which is narrow in geographic distribution.P.yungfuensis is a species,of which both flowers and leaves are excellent.It has great adaptability and potential as a new potted flower.In order to control plant type and appropriately regulate florescence,P.yungfuensis in pot was treated with plant growth regulators by spraying leaves and irrigating the substrate to study the effects on plants growth and development.The main results are as follows:1.The plant growth regulators both had preliminary dwarfing effects on plant type,including plant height,the ornamental traits of crown width,leaf length,leaf width and flower peduncle length.The CCC was greater than PP333 as the growth regulator for potted The substrate irrigation was a better way than spraying the leaves.2.Under different concentration treatment of CCC,the dwarf effect of P.yungfuensis showed anobvious raise along with the increase of the concentration and then weaken.The content of soluble sugar and soluble protein in leaves were first increased and then decreased.However,they were higher than that of control at last.The POD activity and CAT activity in the three antioxidant active enzymes was first enhanced and then weakened,while the SOD activity was not significantly enhanced,but the final content was higher than that of the control.The changes of contents of IAA and ZR in leaves were the same as those of control,showing the trend of first rising and then decreasing,but the change of contents of ABA showed a continuous upward trend,which were different from the control.The GA content showed a tendency to drop first and then rise and then fall,which is the same as the control trend,but the final content is lower than the control.400 mg/L was the best treatment concentration for applying,and each trait was significantly different from that of the control3.Under different concentration treatment of CCC,the correlations between morphological indexes and physiological indexes were significant or extremely significant.In addition to the positive correlation,plant height,crown width,leaf length and flower bud length were all negatively correlated with the number of calyx and florets,and the GA content was significantly negative correlated with the content of IAA and ABA.The correlation between morphology and physiology indicated that plant height,crown width and most physiological indexes had significant or significant negative correlation,but only positive correlation with IAA content.Leaf length and leaf stalk length had significant or significant negative correlation with most of the enzymes and hormones,but only leaf length had significant positive correlation with IAA content.The length of calyx was negatively related or not related to all physiological indexes.The number of calyx was only positively correlated with POD activity,CAT activity and ABA content,but negatively correlated with IAA content.The number of florets was only positively correlated with POD activity,SOD activity,CAT activity and GA content.Florescence was only positively correlated with POD activity,GA content and ABA content.4.As far as the Beijing area(under greenhouse warming to 20 0C and 60%humidity cultivation conditions)is concerned,the optimal time for the application of CCC was the vegetative growth stage of the plant(Four months after flowerence),when continuing to use CCC three times with an interval of 25 the plant dwarf effect performed the best.Under the treatment,the group florescence can be advanced about 30 days and the single florescence extend 4 days.The content of soluble sugar and soluble protein in leaves increased by 17.4%and 2.7%respectively compared with the control group,and three protective antioxidant enzyme activities of POD,SOD,and CAT increased,and the contents of endogenous hormones IAA and ABA showed an increasing trend in plant growth process.Changes in GA and ZR levels increased first and then decreased.In this study,the application methods of CCC on the growth and development of potted plant P.yungfuensiswere optimized,in which case the plants can achieve the effect of compact plant type,moderate calyx,abundant flower as well as early flowering period.Furthermore,the results provided theoretical basis and reference for the development of potted plant P.yungfuensis. |
