With‘10-6'grape as test material, this experiment studied about the delayed cultivation technique to satisfy the listing demands of grapes around the Spring Festival?November to March?and fill the gap of seasonal grape pickup and consumption. The test material was annual grafted seedling of‘10-6'grape.The rootstock was Beida. The field planting of‘10-6'grape was conducted in the solar greenhouse in early March with planting space of 0.2 m×2 m and 30 plants each row.“Y”shape pruning and trellis was adopted. The plants were managed in four different ways:One young sprout was reserved on an individual plant to cultivate one fruit cane. One young sprout reserved on an individual plant was cut back and upgraded on June 1stt to re-cultivate one fruit cane. Two young sprouts were reserved on an individual plant to cultivate two fruit canes. Two young sprouts reserved on an individual plant were cut back and upgraded on June 1stto re-cultivate two fruit canes. Then plants mentioned above were cut back and promoted for flower-formation on July 31st,August 15thh and August 31st,respectively.The results indicated that:1.The thickness of the stem bases of young sprouts where renewal pruning was not conducted was significantly greater than that of young sprouts where renewal pruning was conducted. The stem bases of young sprouts reserved with one sprout was significantly greater than that of young sprouts reserved with two sprouts.2.During three periods of promoting flower-formation and cutting back,as the period of cutting back delayed, the thickness of cutting gradually increased. On July31stand August 15thwhen the plants were promoted for flower-formation and cut back, fruit canes were green and semi-lignified.The germination rate of the plants where renewal pruning was conducted?more than 29.4%?was obviously higher than that of the plants where renewal pruning was not conducted?more than 10.0%?.The branching capacity was above 1.6 and indeterminate shoot rate was more than 75.0%averagely,but there were too few?less than 129.4 pcs?flower buds on the inflorescence of the plants that were promoted for flower-formation and cut back on July 31st.For the plants that were promoted for flower-formation and cut back on August 31st,the degree of lignification of indetermination shoot was too high while branching capacity?less than one?and germination rate?lower than 14.1%?were too low, which could not meet the demand of high yield.3.The maturity period of‘10-6'grape reserved with one sprout that was promoted for flower-formation and cut back on August 15thh was around New Year's Day.The yield per mu could be more than 2100 kg,much higher than that of other periods. In conclusion, the fecundity, fruit character and fruit quality of the plant of‘10-6'grape reserved with one sprout after renewal pruning was conducted on June 31stand promoted for flower-formation and cut back again on August 15thh were the best, which could better satisfy market demands.
